  1. Agree. Why have him in our NGA academy if he didn’t fit the rules. Dees management is odd. The NGA was brought in to promote participation and development of non traditional player pathways and origins. Why wouldn’t a Samoan multicultural background be included ??! It’s another bizarre AFL rule. example … Cam McKenzie was in Saints NGA as under South African heritage. His dad Rob being born in South Africa meant Mackenzie was eligible to join St Kilda's Next Generation Academy. He was top 10 quality so the Saints missed out and he was picked by the hawks. Dees should seek a change !! Now !!!! The AFL already flipped to change the rules to have Mac Andrew go the Suns and deny the demons. Now the bombers get access to Kako who is top 15 in this years draft under new rules. Dees must fight this and ask for a rule change. Put up some kahunas Mr Pert or get out !!!
  2. 4 goals 8 behinds 5 out of bounds. 22% accuracy. FFS. Poor is the word. Practice is an understatement!!!

  4. Why wouldn’t a Samoan multicultural background be included ??! It’s bizarre AFL ruling. example … Cam McKenzie was in Saints NGA as under South African heritage. His dad Rob was born in South Africa and his mum Delia was born in Canada before growing up in South Africa. Rob being born in South Africa meant Mackenzie was eligible to join St Kilda's Next Generation Academy. He was top 10 quality so the Saints missed out and he was picked by the hawks. 5. Dees must fight this … the NGAs are a joint initiative between the league and the clubs aimed at the attraction, retention and development of all talented players — both male and female — whilst growing participation in the under-represented segments of the community. First introduced in 2017, a key objective of the NGAs is to increase the talent pool of Indigenous and multicultural players. These groups are significantly under-represented in the AFL comparative to the population, and therefore clubs are incentivised through draft concessions for their role in growing this talent pool.
  6. Why??! WTF … afl screwing us again !!!
  7. Cats will retire Hawkins and use his $$$ to get Smith. They always get their man. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
  8. What ? Why? What the?? He’s multicural background is Samoan. Why not eligible???? Why are we being screwed again !!!
  9. Club has offered another 3 tonnes of radox and 124 tubes of voltaren!!! Definitely just one more year and that’s it. !!!!
  10. @Davos midfielder midfielder midfielder pick 5 must be a midfielder we have neglected the midfield balance 5… O’Sullivan, Langford, Lalor, Lindsay Tauru is good and yes competitive but I’m still ranking him around 20 Had good traits and will be a player Jack Ough. Good call. His name is catchy and he gets the OOOOO!! call most likely. He is one that impressed each time I see a few minutes of the Rebels. Just his height and presence as a mid does add something and he’s composed with the footy. Had him around mid 40s so early-mid third round.
  11. Bump. The Dees parted with their future third-round pick in exchange for him. Future 3rd is now pick 43 in this draft. I was not keen and he will certainly not improve. His skill and kicking (especially his goalkicking) was sub standard. 4 goals in 16 games from half forward. Warning to all that are now considering Macrae and Caleb Daniel. No !!! We shouldn’t be a salary dumping ground for players in decline
  12. Agree he has PACE, SKILL, GOALKICKING … he’s impressed in some games but there must be a query over whether he has the ?DETERMINATION and ?DEDICATION to be a regular AFL player a lot of due diligence needed I’d prefer Parfitt if we are after this half forward type
  13. I’d have to say, proven to be NO !!!
  14. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 How James Jordon went from fringe Demon to one of AFL’s best taggers James Jordon has gone from a Melbourne fringe dweller to one of the most important players in Sydney’s premiership quest The 2024 season couldn’t have gone more to plan for Jordon. Following an off-season move to Sydney from the Dees, he has played every match for John Longmire’s side. Initially brought in as a midfield-forward who would bring pressure around the contest, the Swans eventually converted him into an out-and-out tagger to deploy on the best opposition players — “Best tagger in the league,” Nick Blakey interjects during the interview as he’s walking past. His efforts have been invaluable in their run to the minor premiership and he’s now proven that he can replicate that form in finals. “He’s been superb for us,” Longmire said of Jordon. “He’s incredibly disciplined, but he’s also a terrific runner. “There were some important moments with he, Chad and Heens and those guys running hard in that last term. He was one of those guys and we love the way he goes about his job.” But Saturday’s match was also a sweet moment of satisfaction for the 23-year-old. After regularly being on the fringes at Melbourne, including as an unused sub in the 2021 grand final triumph, he finally has been given the belief that he belongs on the biggest stage. “It gives me a lot of confidence as well, to go out there knowing that all the coaches back me in and I am loving it,” he said. We’ve got such a great team with so many great players. And you know, it’s the selflessness of the team. For example, Errol got tagged (by the Giants) but he was massive in a lot of different ways. “This is exactly why I came, and I’m loving it.”

Toxic culture at Bulldogs. Smith. Macrae. Must be a toxic culture. Macrae is like Caleb Daniel. 3 years ago. Yes. They had energy and pace. Not anymore. Unfortunately for Macrae, he has lost pace. He gets exposed defensively. Ok kick but more of a chip or up and under kick. He’s on big $$$ too. I’m not a fan of another Hunter, Billings salary cap to assist other clubs. It’s a BIG NO !!!!
  16. Moonshadow. I love it. I’m still laughing 🤣
  17. Both are cooked. Seriously. Answer is NO. They are on big money with reduced output. Have we not learnt anything? Salary dump strategy of guys like Hunter & Billings is going backwards!!!
  18. O’Sullivan. Langford. Lindsay. Lalor. Gross. Dattoli.
  19. Apparently massive CULTURAL ISSUES at the bulldogs !!! Players want out. Smith. Macrae. Must be a full review !!!!!
  20. Shhhhh… wildcard pick as a mature smoky WAFL ruckman Oliver Eastland should be one to watch out as a smoky late draftee. Finished 4th in the Sandover medal after an excellent year. He’s 26 but all ruck players develop later. Unlucky not to get drafted, he played WAFL and had injuries through earlier years and now is reliable ruckman. At WAFL he’s dominated in the last 3 years at Claremont. Saw him v SANFL this year again. He’s a ruck/forward but at 199cms is quite agile. Certainly would be a handy back up addition in the squad.
  21. Blues usually get their man. They’ve picked up a lot of recruits from other teams. 12 of their starting 22 on the weekend v Lions were from other clubs !!
  22. Heartbreaking 💔. He gave so much and it was a sad bitter ending to a man who helped build and develop the Demons as a successful club. I love his direct style. Simple words. No riddles. Direct. Firm. Honest. A man of principles. A lot still to be learned from this event.
  23. They use points … Ashcroft is another father son pick for Lions.
  24. Swans rate Green very very highly. Invested pick 16 last year and see him as an A grade ruckman ahead. Unless he gets bitten by homesickness, it’d be a long shot !!!
