  1. Flanders for our future 1st 2026 pick .., thoughts?
  2. Agree with some concerned posters here. We have JVR, Jeffo and Kentfield. The club must have question marks over these guys!!! Mihocek is a smart footballer and knows how to kick goals. Gunston has shown how effective that smarts and footy IQ can be He will be 33 in February. A 2-year deal is okay at a maximum. Say $550k a season. Perhaps a trigger for a third year if he plays more than 14 games in 2027. Assume he’s an Unrestricted free agent?
  3. That’s hardly the players outwardly in the media criticising him !!’
  4. Kate Hore is a star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ another 5 star performance
  5. Can you show me the articles or the quotes from specific players questioning Trac’s commitment? I don’t recall. If it’s media stories “questioning his commitment” versus “him questioning the clubs direction “, that’s different.
  6. Barely a mention. It was a generic mention on the footy talk shows. Now just a distant memory. Smith has got away again with arrogant and misogynistic behaviour. The AFL action or comment … nil. Silence. Ffs that’s the bias towards the Cats again on show.
  7. Gerard Whateley “The worst part is the character assassination, like we saw with Christian Petracca last year”. The MFC and players did not ridicule or demean Petracca at all. Please restate your conversation. @
  8. AFL AND THE MEDIA … shhhhh nothing to see here !!! Imagine if it was Steven May!!! Boy the dogs would unleash on us !!! Bailey Smith was angered by being photographed receiving treatment at an open media session. “In more than two decades of covering the Cats, I’ve never been spoken to like that by a player,” Alison Wynd, the photographer involved, told News Corp. “I appreciate Bailey acknowledging that his behaviour was unacceptable.
  9. “Pick 6, the Suns 2026 First round pick and Sam Flanders for Christian Petracca and pick 23” Ummmm Would the Suns have cap space ? Would they effectively give up Flanders for “23”, and Would Petracca be able take them to the promised land of a premiership? Christian has to consider how to change his cooking style from modern Mediterranean to beachside chic … prawn cocktails and grilled barramundi!!!
  10. Jon Ralph 🤡 is an [censored] So the Crows could offer their 2025 first round and 2026 first round picks Effectively given the compromised draft, like picks 21 or 22 in each year What a clown !!! That’s a [censored] shizzzen deal “Ralph suggested the Demons should be open to a deal for two first-round picks to help them add to their young nucleus.” “Melbourne hasn’t got a first-round pick this year ... they’ve got a nucleus of young kids, but they haven’t got an enough young A-graders, they need to get into this draft,” he said.If Adelaide would give them their first-round pick this year and next year, I think it’s something Steven King would have to think about”
  11. Bonner 23 Billings 12 Hardie 8 Jefferson 5 Campbell 4 Sharp and Turner 3
  12. "I don't get how you can walk past the Bailey Smith issue without any form of addressing it publicly." Why Damo is disappointed with the AFL's lack of response to Bailey Smith's latest incident. #9FootyClassified | Watch on Nine & 9Now 🖥️
  13. Billings 12 votes. Yet didn’t poll in the last few games where he was best on ground in at least 4 games. Got 40 disposals v Hawks in last game was absolutely the best on ground. Zero votes. Umps are clowns.
  14. J.J. LISTON TROPHY (Smithy’s VFL Best and Fairest) Jacob Dawson (Southport Sharks) – 28 votes Riley Bonner (Casey Demons) – 23 votes Dom Brew (Werribee) – 21 votes Deven Robertson (Brisbane Lions) – 20 votes Henry Hustwaite (Box Hill Hawks) – 18 votes Brodie McLaughlin (Williamstown) – 17 votes Jack Bytel (Coburg) – 15 votes Ted Clohesy (Geelong Cats) – 15 votes
  15. Dawson won on 28 Bonner was runner up on 23
  16. Sam McClure 💩💩💩💩💩 Damien Barrett ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ “There's something that doesn't quite wash on how the Melbourne coaching process played out." 🤔 The intrigue over the Demons' coaching gig. #9FootyClassified | Watch on Nine & 9Now 🖥️
  17. I had to risk sacrificing an opportunity to coach Melbourne, to keep an opportunity to coach Tasmania" Nathan Buckley discusses missing out on the Melbourne coaching role. 📺Watch #OnTheCouch on Ch. 504 or stream via @kayosports bit.ly/41YM4ui
  18. Rory Wright. Trying to keep him under wraps but he’s too good … perfect player to add to our new young midfield group. Like XL20, he can play as an attacking hbf until he builds up to an AFL midfielder role. He will be one to watch in this weeks GF. Up against the Ranges midfield group.
  19. Tom Morris. Lives in mud!! That’s his journalism
  20. New Demons coach Steven King has made no secret of his expectations for Melbourne to return to finals next year. And he won't go down without a fight in keeping Christian Petracca in the red and blue. 7NEWS.com.au @cleary_mitch @7AFL #7NEWS

  22. Agree. Bonner at HBF and Hardie at HFF. Both had excellent years.
  23. Definitely four !! Oliver Greeves Lachy Dovaston Xavier Taylor Sullivan Robey
  24. Sturt win SANFL under 18 premiership Jett Dahlitz had 37 possessions as a rebounding defender. 14 marks. Showed his talent in SA under 18 at national championships and has been excellent back at club level. Has that energy like Trent Rivers but with much better kicking skills. At 187cms, has a good size too. Would fit in as a Bailey Dale type defender who can rebound and distribute SANFLSturt win 2025 SANFL U18 Premiership - SANFL
  25. Like last year, the Dees future first pick might get some interest as clubs see us weakening and potentially a pick in the top 5/6. Again the Suns have so many academy players to get, so their first pick might be available to negotiate to win.
