  1. Love the passion but …
  2. Agree. Levi Ashcroft also will be a gift for the Lions. As an underage player, he is seriously good. He’s as good as his brother.
  3. From todays Grand Final. A big win to the Drsgons. Sanders showed so much class. He provided run and carry out of the middle, with a special highlight in the last. Out of Centre. Two bounces. Across 50 arc. Handballs to Murphy Reid. Goal. Game over. Sanders would be a great addition to our midfield. We have the bulls. We need the class. He’s a top 5-6 draftee for sure.
  4. For the Ranges: Nick Watson - quieter today but his ability to win the footy around the contest was clear. Not sure he’s what the Dees need right now but he’s a talented youngster. Caleb Windsor - pace and run and footy skills. Another good day. Love his defensive work as well and was rewarded with two frees from tackles. Definitely think he’s in our thoughts if we end up keeping our existing 1st round “13” (ends up 16-17) pick. Tyson Sruk (rover) was outstanding today as he ran and ran all day against the talented Dragons Mids. 30+ possessions and willed the ranges into attack countless times. Small mid and perhaps might end up a rookie chance somewhere.
  5. For the Dragons: Sanders showed so much class. How was Ryley Sanders run and carry out of the middle in the last. Two bounces. Handballs to Murphy Reid. Goal. Sanders would be a great addition. Top 5-6 draftee for sure. Will Brown. The skipper of the Dragons. Not sure of his aerobic ability but definitely a smart player. Goal goal sense. Just like Archie Roberts as well. He should be on JTs list. Skills like a lot of left footers. Lovely goal to finish a very good day. Harvey Johnston looked smart and evasive. Charlie Edwards. Quieter than recent but strong runner and likes to burst clear. Still 25-35 pick for me
  6. Unfortunately there will be a winner out of Lions and Pies. Hate Zorko. Hate Maynard. Unfortunately one of these grubs will get a premiership. Fortunately there will be a loser. 🤣🤣 Pies lose. Wasted year after finishing on top. Colliwobbles. Lions lose. Perhaps their last chance. Would be the MCG Hoodoo !!!
  7. Yes will be looking at Sanders, who should be a key to the Dragons winning. Also look for Archie Roberts and Charlie Edwards from the Dragons, and of course Nick Watson and Caleb Windsor for the Ranges.
  8. Definitely would be amazed if Kangas assistance package was that they got to match any top 40 bid for Sanders. as an aside … Laura Kane was at North Melbourne for 6 years from 2016 to end 2021 (pre AFL role) . North Melbourne gave her the pathway into football administration. She was the General Manager Football Strategy and Operations. I’d assume she has lots of close business working relationships with people at North Melbourne. I’m not saying there is bias but there would be some stronger inclination to help then perhaps with other clubs. Always difficult imv when there has been a strong club work or playing history associated, again just imv. At least Gil mostly appeared non partisan.
  9. Ouch … AFL Brownlow Predictor 32 - Lachie Neale 10 - Charlie Cameron 8 - Joe Daniher, Josh Dunkley I guess he doesn’t have too many others aside from McCluggage and Dunkley to steal votes away.
  10. And now there are 2 remaining … but not us
  11. I reckon we have 10 genuine stars in the squad and more up and coming. Votes are shared around and it shows the quality of this team. A great bond that is not measured by money. It is measured by the enjoyment of the game and the high quality produced. Go the Dees ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
  12. Yes I vote no to Chol. He’s not the answer.
  13. McAdam plus … I think (in my view) we will need a backup ruck/forward !! At least as a plan B in case Maxy gets injured or needs a rest!! Otherwise yes 4 new draftees plus Kynan Brown would be handy.
  14. If not Mckercher, Sanders ⭐️ would be fine.
  15. Jack Darling’s resume reads: premiership player, All Australian, 5 time club leading goalkicker and Eagles life member. Has played 20+ games for year. Contract expires end 2024. 31 yo. 510 goals. 1300 marks. Sure age is a factor. But whilst we are in the premiership window and having key forwards still developing, is he worthy of a phone call? Just a thought …just an opinion
  16. What we do reckon we would have to give to Crows for McAdam? A future 3rd round. ??? Or Straight swap for Harmesy ??? 🥲🤔
  17. The Dragons’ midfielder Charlie Edwards is considered a late bolter for draft selection. I think he will be a pick around the early 20s !!! I hope he’s in the Dees sights.
  18. Both are cooked. Only the remaining 1-year of their contracts keeping them for announcing retirements in my view. Unfortunately Brown could not move during and after games he played. He’s a great bloke, a premiership player , but his body (knee) has now let him down.
  19. Daicos might even poll in games that he didn’t even play 🤣🤣🤣that’s the AFL way !!
  20. no no no no no no no no no no and no
  21. Good news if Sanders is available. Either Mckercher or Sanders would be perfect for the Dees. Either imv would be ready made players for round 1 2024 and have elite skills.
  22. Mckercher would be an early Xmas gift for the Dees.
  23. The AFL also gave North the right to an additional two rookies on the list - a measure aimed at allowing the club to keep younger players while bringing in more mature talent. Sources familiar with the AFL’s draft assistance package for the Kangaroos said the future picks had to be used in trades this year or they would cease to exist. North Melbourne have not had the problem of key players leaving the club. Confused!!!! Why end of first round pick in 2024 and end of second round 2024???? That’s draft help over 3 years !!!! 2022. 2023. 2024. They got picks as assistance last year ‘ 22 which they used it to get Logue and Tucker. Agree with end of first round 2023. Okay. But not 2024 I’d also given them priority access to two players from state leagues. Like Suns got and they picked up Josh Corbett and Chris Burgess. It’s a help but not a huge gift.
  24. Harsh but fair. Harsh but true. Harsh but …it’s footy so give ‘em hell. Maynard is their face. And it’s an ugly vile loathsome one !!!
