It's interesting earl, trenners has never been fast in the way toumpas was, imo he has been played out of position, he's an inside mid with a quick first couple of steps who has been playing at half forward or on the outside where his pace is exposed Toumpas had some genuine speed but has lost it and his confidence has clearly taken a massive hit, who knows if he can get it back, recruiters obviously think so

One thing I will say is toumpas has lost do much pace since his hip surgery, he used to be genuinely quick, probably Matt Jones quick and loved to run and carry Without that he really doesn't have a role unless he develops a contested game

Toumpas is averaging 17 touches at afl level and his tackles are improving alot, he is improving but people compare him to McRae and wines which means anything he does do is unnoticed

he has been going okay, 21 touches and 6 tackles last week is fine, he's developing, i don't agree that he's barely making casey seniors i reckon that's way off the mark and him being drafted was obvious at the time he was rated at pick 2 most of the year, i think alot were shocked the giants didn't pick him up, personally i reckon it was part of the Hogan deal that they'd let him slide through to us

he's doing fine, occasionally, young players take more than a year and a half to become good at AFL Level, mind you Toump is averaging 17 touches at AFL level so he's doing okay anyway, it's just how well Wines is doing that is making people more concerned

He is going to get at least 500k a year, I can't see us getting less than band 1

I don't think he will, purely based on Lions, Saints and Tigers desperately needing key position players, I reckon, Wright, McCartin and Durdin are the top 3, and Petracca will be 4
