I just noticed this on the fox footy facebook page, all the bombers supporters somehow see this as a positive totally ignoring the huge health risks for the players, the utterly dishonest and blatent cheating associated with it the amazing lack of any sort of ethical consideration whatsoever the fact that imo this is more than a killer blow for the bombers, I can't see any technicality saving them from this.

I am just about certain it's Kirk, Bomber is the other really big chance imo, signing someone like that would basically eliminate the need for him to spend time under Roosy, but I reckon Roosy would move on so Bomber could steer the ship himself my money is on Kirk bigtime though

I think PR will be around regardless so I think his influence cancels out a lot of the concern of appointing an inexperienced successor, essentially they just need someone who understands and upholds the bloods culture and plan and will take the pressure of the media, Roosy won't leave a job half finished imo

Exactly, they may get off on a technicality, but the cheaters damage will do plenty of damage regardless unless they prove they're innocent, I just don't think they are personally and that's why they aren't responding to the show cause notices and why they have gone straight to the federal court to try and get off on a technicality rather than fighting for their innocence.

The club will be ultra conservative as it has all along but at this stage they feel Jesse could play against the lions, he may go into the vfl but there is a chance they won't worry about it, so 4 weeks he will play somewhere imo, either against Brisbane or in the vfl

Hh, the Brisbane game is Jesse's aim, he won't go through Casey because the club wants him to taste afl level this year, if he doesn't play against Brisbane it will be the week after based on what I was told

In his u/18 years he played as an onballer/wing and spent a little time on half back, he had serious pace though, it seems that his surgery has taken that from him for now, he still has the class and footy smarts, but he is a player very much dependant on confidence, it's shot at the minute so hopefully he finds it and finishes the year well.

all I have been told from my best mate who is good friends with Jesse is it's a substancial pay rise as expected, whether that means he's on 300k, 500k, 700k, I have absolutely no idea, i'd guess it's around the 400-500k mark

I understand what you mean but the MFC offer was also substancial, a lot of players take pay cuts to stay at their team, Scully completely ignored the investment and offer from MFC, and if you believe all that is said, has done nothing but bad mouth the club since, we probably dodged a bullet looking back

Hogan highlights the difference between himself and scully, he clearly understands the investment the club has made, Scully didn't give a crap he just wanted money

I think that rumour came up when they overlooked Toumpas for O'Rourke and Plowman, interestingly enough I would have thought that Wines and Menzel would have been the two to pick with that strategy, Menzel imo is clearly the most talented player from that draft but the injuries caused him to slide I don't think that's so much of an issue this year given they won't have multiple top end picks unless they do some trading, I reckon they will just look at what their side needs, key defence, outside pace and more experienced bodies, I reckon they will make a play for Brad Sewell

I reckon GWS will pick Durdin, as I still feel they lack one more real quality defender, they have plenty of mids, Pickett is another I could see them pulling the trigger on early
