What about the bombers duty of care to the players? they couldn't give a crap about the players, integrity of the game or even their own reputations they just want to get off charges, shows exactly how desperate they are and exactly how much trouble they're in.

am I correct in saying that the bombers are so desperate to be cleared that they are happy to carry the cheaters tag, I don't see how any of this clears their name, if somehow it makes the investigation invalid and they get off it doesn't make them any better people.

I have heard freo's offer was 2.6 million over 4 years, which would result in band 1 compensation, I think the AFL will bend over backwards to give us the high pick as we are still in the early stages of a revival, the did the same with Col last year, we should not have gotten band 2 for him.

Surely there has to be a breach in their contracts because of this, I would imagine sponsors would be protecting themselves from this sort of thing as standard.

You're probably right, but I really rated Viney as a coach, felt he had alot right, values tackles and effort, must do the hard stuff, must be willing to bleed for your team it's probably going to be Kirk but i'm sure Roosy and PJ have looked at all sorts of options

I don't think it's too fantastic in terms of the talls, I don't think McCartin and Wright even compare to Boyd and Hogan but I like the look of Brayshaw and Petracca, I wouldn't mind drafting Petracca and trading the other pick on, for a Tyson like deal, would love young Corey Ellis, has beautiful skills and is a really good half back

the players technically sign contracts with the AFL not the clubs, this system is in place to give ASADA huge powers in terms of making sure teams don't cheat using drugs, Essendon are absolutely cooked if they're suggesting they don't have the power to conduct a joint investigation with the relevant sporting body that he players in question are contracted under, if anything ASADA would be breaching their requirements if they weren't keeping the AFL informed. I'm not too sure on the process beyond this but it seems that Asada are big favourites to come out of this court challenge on top now, not sure where that leaves Essendon but presumably the players won't be impressed if they don't already know about the potential medical ramifications of the drug program, I wouldn't be surprised to see at least some of the players turn on the club and Hird find himself in a whole world of hurt.

Todd Viney has senior coaching experience, highly rated assistant coach, great relationship and familiarity with the players, loves the contested ball game Roosy is basing the plan on I think there is merit to both personally.

Brayshaw is your Jarrod McVeigh, Petracca is your Josh Kennedy, both will be dangerous in different ways, Brayshaws consistency will compliment Petraccas X factor

Potentially, but it's a highly professional enviorment, I think between he and the other assitants they'd understand the need to treat him as just another player both Todd and Jack will always put the MFC first imo

Just to throw a massive smokey into the mix, Todd Viney has senior coaching experience, extremely highly rated assistant, has been sitting in the background under Roos, has the red and blue passion we need. i'd not be the slightest bit disappointed if it were Todd Viney.

I think Jack Viney will be every bit a superstar, is see him as the next joel selwood I reckon Tyson has superstar potential, Nathan Jones and Bernie Vince's best footy is upper elite Jesse Hogan looks a future star, Max Gawn is the smokey I think could become an extremely good player Tom Mcdonald sorts out his kicking and he's the best defender in the comp imo
