Toumpas and Strauss have great skills but I don't feel like either is damaging, both could be game breakers with their quality skills

young ceglar has been quite good for them the last few weeks, I think they want to see Big Mac absolutely smash the door down to get back in, being a slightly shorter ruckman he needs good form to be a force in the finals imo

I am not certain they would have, the currently have Fyfe, Mundy, Pavlich and Mcpharlane out of contract by the end of this year, and by all reports are chasing frawley hard, they only have a certain amount of money to throw around, especially with Fyfe in line for a serious pay rise if he stays

we probably need line breakers more than anything, I am fairly comfortable with our ability to win the inside ball going forwards with Jones, Viney, Tyson, Cross, Vince, Michie and Trengove

Agree, if he wants consistant finals, a good chance of a flag and good money i'd be heading to the Suns, and they are one of the interested parties, Bluey McKenna seriously rates Chip having said that I think Hogan steps in to play his role up forward and we get a top 10 pick as compo so while it's a significant loss it's not going to plunge the club into chaos of which it may never recover.

Bird is a solid contributor in their midfield, exactly the type of player Roosy loves, and Zac Jones looks a very good prospect, I'm not sure about Rohan, I haven't seen enough to make a judgement but have read comments comparing him to Sam Blease, maybe Mitchell and Jones for pick 6 would be a better deal but again it depends, Sydney might see it as unrealistic, I think they will be open to freeing up room in the salery cap a bit though

Trenners is an inside mid, I expect a massive pre season and him at the centre bounces next year

I'd love Sam Reid and Luke parker at the Dees

Richmond and Carlton have some genuine vfl standard players which holds them back

I suppose that's why roosy didn't mention wanting a forward knowing this was in the works, it's consistent with what my best mate told me though Jesse understands we have made a massive investment in him and have put alot of time and resources into developing him, roosy flew to Perth to talk to his family personally, and we have been ultra conservative with his back. Jesse loves Melbourne, roosy and the club and will be around for a long time imo
