Knee injury, they are going to nurse him through to round 1 i think but he went down with his knee the same day Christian did and it sent a bit of panic through Essendon supporters.

I agree, but i don't think Frost will be playing forward unless there are injuries. Dawes, Hogan, Pederson, Gawn, Watts, Fitzpatrick all ahead of him as far as tall forwards -

Wow, if this is the case the club needs to be hit extremely hard, absolutely disgusting if true.

I'm really interested to see tonights game, will be great to see how much of the more attacking style we have been working on comes out in game. and to get a good look at Jesse Hogan against a really good defender will be great to see as well. -
I reckon he will stay, although GWS are a bit of a wildcard if they offer him an insane amount of money, in which case, straight swap for devon smith and all is well in the world

Just my opinion Players who have signed waivers and then accepted injections that weren't lied to about what they were being injected with should be banned for life from the AFL playing elite level sport is a privilege, any attempted cheats should be removed from the game with no sympathy imo, Hird, Dank and co should also cop the same treatment, if however the players didn't know, they must have had suspicions, clearly Doc Reid knew, surely someone could have made a phone call to confirm the status of these substances.

Col Garland to play forward? -
So did i, i was hoping for confirmation he had been fired so i could rub it in a bit on twitter.
-
Agree, but how much of that is confidence and belief in his own ability? once he gets some consistant game time and knows he can trust his body i expect to see him start to build confidence that he belongs at the level and throw his weight around a little bit more, i think it's a natural progression.
-
Pretty much where i was coming from, he has seemingly dropped off the face of the earth, just curious if anyone was aware as to why he wasn't posting articles on AFL.com anymore.
-
I'm going with Dean Kent, absolutely love everything i've seen from him, i think he'll certainly lock down his spot in the team this season, the other one that i think might surprise is Max Gawn, i think he is just about ready to show the competition how good he is.

I personally highly doubt that these players have stayed loyal to the club during interviews, obviously confidentiality clauses in their contracts prevent them from saying much to the media but in an interview with ASADA if you were concerned your club had injected you with something dangerous it would be pretty easy to spill your guts and tell them everything.

Does anyone know if purple still Has his job or what the go is? Haven't seen anything from him in a while

Shame there is no room for nev

It can be but if you watch the highlights of Jimmy during the SANFL years he played, he was seriously quick and hard running, provided alot of link up options for his team and was damaging on the outside, he seems to be getting back to that, he was seriously down on speed the last couple of years but he looks to be getting that back now.

I get the impression Doc Reid was almost bypassed, i can't understand any other way he has managed to avoid the blame for alot of this saga.
-
The thing i became really excited about today was the forward line we have Watts Dawes Kent Garlett Hogan Gawn all capable of kicking multiple goals and the delivery i think will be much better in 2015
-
as TDI said he really just floats around training and offers advice to everyone, just listening to him is amazing, i have been listening closely for my own football haha, but i can see exactly why he is so highly regarded as a development coach.

Typo mate, Jetta is starting on the field, i just forgot to put him in there. -
I took some notes today: I think Newton will be our find of 2015, he looks a very good well rounded player and his training and attitude are very solid. Chris Dawes to me looks to be moving a lot better, i think he will play up the ground a fair bit this season and he, Watts, Hogan and resting ruckman should pose headaches. Toumpas to me is back to the level where i saw him in the SANFL, looks to be moving really well. great to see alot of guys lowering their eyes and delivering into the forward 50 now, not too many blokes just bombing away which is great, plenty of targets hit in match sim. Brendan Mcartney again doing a great job, this week telling Watts to use his body more, he is a big boy and shouldn't be getting pushed off the line by many blokes, needs to impose himself, got stuck into Jeff for being a bit lazy with his forward pressure at one point, this picked up right away after that. The overall spread of the team from stoppages is noticeably better imo, i think our ball movement has improved a lot

Also in this case i'd say there is a strong chance that if one is proven guilty that they all will regardless of differing information, i think it will be assumed if one has taken something 34 have.

I'm actually a bit of a fan of Pig dog, he has been looking quite sharp at training, i think he's going to play a few games this year, the other two i agree on, they will need consistent good form at casey to get a look in.
