We will lift bigtime in finals. this entire season in my opinion hinges on if another team can go with us. the Swans are a very good team, but when we played them we were in a form slump, no Steven May, Harry petty playing through multiple injuries and they just fell over the line in a game that could have gone either way. I reckon we will come out of the blocks really strongly and it could be over quite early if the Swans aren't ready for it.

Feel for Ooze, he deserves a crack at a senior gig, Kingsley is a great appointment, and i reckon he'll do a really strong job for GWS, but feel for yze, though stoked to hang onto him for now Essendon are off their absolute heads if he's not one of their first calls. there is absolutely no rational, fact based basis for thinking James Hird is a better senior coaching prospect than Adem Yze, or about 50 other blokes to be honest.

As a few Demonlanders know i work in high performance outside of my career on here, and the reputation Selwyn Griffith has is amazing, he's especially highly regarded in injury prevention and management which is a huge part of why Burgo was so keen on him. I think we've had a few more hurdles this year than last year in terms of managing injuries and so on, but the fact we can hit QF week with a fully healthy and fit list and in good form is a credit to the entire program. I know the media are obsessed with the cats, but i 100% guarantee we have their measure and will beat them if we play them. The only thing that can stop us going back to back is ourselves, we're perfectly placed.

I don't believe Grundys trade value is in any way connected to his salary, when a club is offering to pay 1/3 of his salary for 5 years they can't demand much in a trade, essentially we're doing them a favor. they need Grundy to go to sign their other targets and re-shape the list the way Fly wants, i reckon a second rounder gets it done

That's our best win for the year easily, the Blues bought the heat and were dog hungry, make no mistake playing like that they beat most sides. It is incredibly impressive to bring consistently elite-level pressure against them and grind out a win. we could tidy up our attack, but contest, pressure, and defense were all pretty strong

So good to see us play 4 quarters, the Blues would have beaten most sides today, i'd rate that our best win for the year, they were dog hungry for 4 quarters
