How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
If Moore did that to Kozzie - 0 weeks because it's Kozzie 1-4 weeks

I think it's a bit of a posture game at the moment, it seems MFC, Ess, Carl all aren't willing to meet Ports asking price trade wise, either they soften or he stays.

Delistings 2024
I assume we will just roll Melksham over to another 1 year deal? sounds strange but it's a lot of experience likely out the door this off season, perhaps we need to have a look at a couple of older guys coming back in.

Jake Lever on SEN (21/8/24)
You don't consider around the clock negative media representation that would almost certainly have negatively impacted the list management departments ability do attract players as a direct result of Christians decision to remain silent damage? I think you're giving him an out he doesn't deserve, he's a big boy, he's been through a lot but he has a team of professionals representing him and an element of this that you might not want to admit exists, is undoubtedly calculated, for what purpose? i don't know with certainty.

Jake Lever on SEN (21/8/24)
Something he's very entitled to do, but this isn't the way to do it. the speculation will now continue until Trac is traded, or trade week ends if he doesn't speak, and personally, i suspect that's what he wants.

I reckon Trac would have said something pretty quickly if the same level of negative press was being associated with the CP5 online brand he's building as is the MFC by virtue of his silence. His management could shut this down in 5 seconds flat if Trac wanted it, he wouldn't even have to speak himself, he's making an ongoing choice not to do so.

Dan Houston
That's so silly, Houston is one of, if not their most important player, this could legitimately cost them the flag. I'd be appealing via any means available and praying for a technicality.

I think the way i'd approach it is to elevate the heir apparent to the VC role alongside Viney. So perhaps the leadership structure would be C: Max Gawn VC: Jack Viney, Jake Lever

It would make sense give they're one of the very few teams that could actually afford him/have some chance of completing a trade, i just don't see why he'd leave us, for them to be honest.

I remember when that [censored] who is a Carlton supporter was fooled by Clayton Oliver pretending he wanted to go there to get a big deal from Melbourne. He quadrupled down on this even when it was pointed out he signed a huge deal about a month later.

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
Geez i hope not, i just gave Tom Morris a huge clip in the other thread 😂 If i am banned in the next 2 hours you can be pretty confident!

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
I am sick of seeing our club be direspected and low balled in trades. I'd start a malicious rumor about them if they didn't also include a future third round pick, has to be a late one though.

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
Perhaps 3 tooth per mouth might be more appropriate for Port Adelaide

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
Sorry, all we have to do is talk about Port and i lose the ability to read, write and count. explains why their fans are the way they are really.

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
Headline "Port interested in Kozzie Pickett after he has 21 disposals, kicks 4 and tears their defense to shreds single handedly" Not shocking they want him at their club given he dominates every time he plays Port.

What can they do beyond re-educate the individuals involved? I contrast this with the Clayton Oliver situation where the ultimate respect was paid to his mental health and stability by the AFL media.

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
We've been linked to Josh Battle, Jake Waterman, Dan Houston, Harry Perryman, Issac Cumming, James Peatling and i am sure others publicly this season, so that certainly happens as well. I get it though, it feels closer to home when the club is getting slammed from all directions

Here's the thing, and it's just my own view and not everyone will agree with this. Everyone can see an enormous factor in this whole situation is trauma and mental health, it's obvious and horrible for Trac and his family. But gutter journalists like Tom Morris only care about headlines, attention and clicks, he wouldn't give a [censored] about any negative impacts this has on Trac the person by having him all over every newspaper and TV constantly in a situation where a trade happening is a 1/100000 chance anyway. I understand he had to get the info from somewhere and perhaps that came from someone close to Trac, but the source clearly didn't think this through, and Tom Morris in my opinion has shown a complete disregard for player welfare in running this story under these circumstances, but at least it helped him repair his credibility and brand a little bit following his disgusting, sexist comments that should have seem him removed from the industry for good in the first place. So i agree, he looks like a complete F witt to me, just not for the reasons the poster was getting at.

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
of course, the AFL wants player movement, so that will continue to be promoted, players are going to come and go, and really good players like Kozzie will be chased every off season regardless of where they're playing. I understand the emotional attachment, but we just simply have to trust the club has the right things in place to hang onto guys. He's not going to be traded with 4 years to run on a deal unless we're offered something outrageous

Garry Lyon brilliant!
One thing i would say is i really don't see the issue in Alister Clarkson naming Jack Viney, he was very complimentary, i am sure Jack wasn't offended by being considered a culture shaping leader by a 4 time premiership coach. by this stage of the year clubs know players are coming and going long before the media do.

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again
They will every year, get used to it. Jeepers Dees fans are really not used to having good players.

Will Brodie
I absolutely would, at worst he'd add some depth and help Casey be more competitive next year. His best footy is really solid.
