If Melbourne beats Sydney and Port beats West Coast .... we go to Perth the week after and if we roll the Eagles, we leapfrog them. Likely pushing them out of the top 4 completely and moving us to 2nd or 3rd. Maybe we end up playing GWS in ROund 23 for 2nd place... and play them again in the first final. Hate to say it but if they get him they will have a scary team. They already have a lot of goal kicking firepower with DeGoey, WHE, Thomas and Stephenson. Our rise is going to coincide with theirs.... I guess the rivalry is back on in a big way.

If Essendon (playing Hawks) and the Kangaroos (playing Lions at the Gabba) lose this week, they are both done. They would need to win their last 3 games and make up a lot of percentage, which wont happen. This would leave Sydney as the only team currently outside the 8 still with a chance of getting in.

Lions at the GABBA this upcoming round is not a probable win for them. If I was a betting man I'd back the Lions.
