  1. Eliminating Geelong from the Finals this Friday night would almost make the journey come full circle. They have caused us so much grief over such a long period, and loved kicking us when we were down. ?
  2. Still no highlights on the club website arghhhhh
  3. They have no depth and about 6 legitimate spuds will run out for them Friday night. If we bring our 'A' game we will crush them.
  4. Keilty and Petty 1st and 2nd BOG in a thumping finals win... how good is that. I was a fan of getting Steven May a couple of months ago, but hes not required. O Mac, Lever, Frost, Petty, J Smith, Keilty..... we bat very deep for tall/intercept backmen.
  5. At least its the AFL getting ahead us these days, and not the club getting ahead if itself.
  6. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-01/highflying-demon-puts-hand-up-for-recall
  7. Geez.... I am so glad we have the chance to knock them out of the finals. Insufferable dolts.
  8. Milkshake media conference http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2018-09-01/media-conference-jake-melksham
  9. From all reports, Cory Machaya put on a show for Casey in todays massive finals win vs Geelong.... three goals and plenty of highlights, including a bicycle kick soccer goal. He is 21 years old, 178 cms, 69 kilos. I happened to make the Bayley Fritsch thread last year so maybe things will work out just as well this time too. Wouldn't that be nice.
  10. Geelongs biggest problem all season has been their bottom 6-12 players being average to poor. They are carried by their superstars. Caseys monster win just showed everyone how weak the Cats depth is.
  11. Sounds very promising... hes been in really good form the last 8 weeks, so it will be interesting to see how we incorporate Viney in with him. Id almost be looking at playing Viney as a defensive small forward with spurts in the middle.
  12. Machaya putting on a show. Might get drafted, how old is he?
  13. The only bad thing about this game is that its not on TV!
  14. Smashing the Cats is just as fun in the VFL as the AFL. God I hate them. Go Casey.
  15. Yeah too true, those three years from 2004-2006 we really fell apart at the end of each home and away season. 2018 is more like 1998 and 2000 as far as form heading into the finals goes.. not the massive winning streaks, but we still head in with two huge scalps and in red hot form... we also finished 14-8 in those two seasons, same as this season.
  16. Give me a break, who the hell snacks on cheese like its normal. Never used a 'cheese board' in my life and dont intend to. Thats for weird French people and those who want to be like them.
  17. Took me a minute to get it, but I actually laughed out loud at this one. Embrace the stereotypes I say.
  18. And Worsfold not only currently coaches an AFL team, but he was handpicked to coach Essendon of all the clubs.
  19. Is Oscar underrated? At 22 years of age he held down full back in 14 win team, and had the increased pressure of his gun key defender partner Jake Lever going down for the season. They had just started to click and suddenly we bring in the very inexperienced Joel Smith to cover Levers role before the emergence of Frosty. Your thoughts on O Mac and how he is tracking and how good he will be in 2019 and beyond.
  20. It just gets worse. Its one thing to be driving under the influence of ice, but to have your kids in the back seat ... wow. https://www.perthnow.com.au/news/crime/cousins-ex-partner-maylea-tinecheff-fails-booze-bus-drug-test-ng-b88944568z
  21. They will try and bully us early as we have practically no finals experience, Lewis aside. It will not end well for them.
  22. Thank god for the mighty Casey Demons... makes the weekend off before AFL finals a lot more bearable seeing them in finals action..... And theyre playing Geelong too.
  23. Seems like he and Flip are busts. Bring in Preuss, have Weid and T Mac as relief rucks when needed and we should be set. Then theres Bradtke too, though he would only be a break open in case of extreme emergency and a few years off playing senior footy youd think.
  24. Does Bontempelli not age? He has been 22 for 5 years.
