Which is the player I have compared him to.... right down to the carefree attitude and pure arrogance of knowing how good they are. Man if he plays like Jaka.... salivating at the prospect.

The dark days are over for the MFC. Really, Paul Roos should have been paid more. Hes completely overhauled our drafting and development. If it was 5 years ago wed have taken Parish over Oliver.

Ill bet nothing in Wines or Selwoods under 18's highlights screamed 'elite skills' either. Oliver looked amazing in his highlights package. A kid that size, who finds time and space and with elite lateral movement and speed off the mark, loves to push forward and kick goals, great mark of the footy.... salivating.

It is ultra impressive how quickly he has changed his body shape... check out how pudgy he was in the first half of 2015 in TAC cup games , then check the latest MFC training pics. The kid seems like a real workhorse, and once he got a sniff that he might be good enough to get drafted he grabbed it with both hands and went to another level. Very exciting prospect.

Disagree strongly with the bolded. His turning circle is practically non existent especially for a bloke of his size. It is one of his greatest strengths. Dont you remember the first game vs the Doggies when he turned Dalhaus inside out on the boundary line? yes, the 175cm lighnting quick and agile Luke Dalhaus- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Vandenberg loves a crunching tackle .. hurt quite a few opposition players in his first season- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
