You cant teach this sort of timing, decision making, skill and instinct. Every club will regret passing on this kid... should have been a top 10 pick imho.

I thought he had a good season in 2017, but the Hawks delisted him. North have delisted him 12 months later. Being delisted twice in 12 months is a bit of a worry, however theres a decent chance someone will pick him up.

His sides have been putrid in the 2nd half of the year. Its like he suddenly decided to hate the Demons. He always puts Grundy ahead of Gawn no matter what.
64 goals, 88 behinds over his career. Its been a problem for him since day 1 and hasn't been improved in 5 years... he was terrible in front of goal last season, and just about as bad this season. No doubt hes a big talent, but he makes Tom Bugg look like Plugger Lockett when it comes to goal kicking. His kicking in general play is also pretty bloody bad.
The offseason just got more exciting.... cant wait to see what Mahoney and co. have up their sleeve if Gaff really is going elsewhere.

I predicted in preseason he would play as a half-forward/mid and kick 35 goals. Got the position and the goal tally wrong, but he has turned into the gun I thought he could be.

Wow. elite. He certainly has been lately thats for sure.. and at just 22 years of age, he just may reach superstardom if he continues the improvement. He has looked like Dustin Martin the last 6 weeks. Incredible that we already had the best midfield in the comp BEFORE the Harmes explosion. Its just getting unfair now. God help the league if we get Gaff too.

Salem has delivered in 2018... the boy has arrived. Perhaps the best kick in the entire AFL. And he is hard as hell and a great tackler. Worth every bit the pick 9 we paid for him.
He hasn't produced all season in VFL or AFL,. why would he suddenly produce in a final?
