Geelong or Sydney will be in another grand Final. zzzzzzzz
-
This puts you a level above GNF.
-
Praying the Crows get into the granny, the Cats and Swans have had enough success the past 10 years. At least we are guaranteed one fresh team making it in (Gws or Dogs). Crows vs Bulldogs grand final would be amazing.

I took the stupid smiley out of my original post, as I was dead serious. Against all odds knocked them off when they otherwise would have gone 3 games clear and finished on top. We slayed the giant, finally after 10 years. We got in their heads and filled their entire club with self doubt. Clarkson tried to shrug it off after the game, but no doubt we rattled them. And now they are done, hopefully for a long time, and we will have a new premier.
-
A reminder that when we played the Hawks, they were two games clear on top of the ladder. We started their downfall.

Hopefully 30 minutes away from the end of the mindnumbingly boring Hawks era.. come on Dogs keep going

The Bulldogs drafting and development is by far the best in the AFL.
-
Yes thats him. No need to trade then.

Heard today that another J.Watts will be joining the MFC this trade period.. a kid from up north. No idea if hes any good or anything about him, just that he is a young KPD and we are into him.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM

Got a good feeling about the Melkshake. Not sure why as I hated him at the Bombers, but then again I hate everyone on their list and anyone involved with their filthy club. -
Id rather see another Hawks flag than Essendon be a finals side or worse, a contender.

How many stars get traded for pick 26? He doesnt need to be a star, but I would hope he is a mainstay in our best 18 and a very good player. -
Gawn 4th in the MVP, that is huge

The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here

Lachie Weller is not very good. We need a much better sweetener than him if its a package with pick 3. Problem is Freo dont have the young talent to satisfy us in any Hogan deal. -

Hey man, thanks for reminding us for the 1000th time that this forum is for speculation, rumours and footy discussion. Dont know where this place would be without you and your constant policing. Cheers. -
Thats what we wanted to hear. Nothing worse than a boring trade period for the Demons. This is Goodwins team now, and he will hopefully leave no stone unturned in bringing talent into the club.

Yes the same one who averages 1 tackle a game. He seems great when hes not playing for your team, but ask Eagles fans what they think of him. -

I would cry if thats all we got for Jesse. Gaff is the biggest downhill skiing midfielder in the AFL. Soft as butter. The stats will back me up on that.. he probably lays less tackles than any mid in the comp and gets a pathetically low number of contested possessions even for an outside mid. -
Greater Western Sydney (a dynasty to rival the Hawks)

Well ironically, if youre talking pure talent coming through, we are probably better prepared than just about anyone to challenge GWS over the coming years. Only the Bulldogs are better placed than us in that regard. Geelong and Hawthorn were extremely lucky - they already had premiership lists when GWS and Gold Coast came in and raped the drafts which set many clubs back years, and they have both benefited from free agency more than any other teams (along with Sydney). -
Is Caseys Van Der Har any relation to the Bomber premiership star?
-
Those two sentences contradict each other a bit, Titan. The extra 3 years of list and salary cap concessions is massive.
-
Gold Coast didnt get anywhere near the leg up GWS did. The Giants were handed a future premiership team, and to this day they are still getting top picks due to the talent they are trading out. Its a vicious cycle that will set them up to dominate the next decade. GWS could have zero development coaches and still win multiple flags.

Ok lets get him

This will be the last final the Kangaroos play for a fair while.
