And here come the Crows
-
North giving us the blueprint for next week. Cheers Scotty. Crows would need the second largest comeback of all time to win this game. Of course with North, anything can happen.

Holy [censored]
-
Why do you say that? He was pick 2 in the most recent draft, a huge talent and looked great tonight. He would cost us our first rounder at a minimum.
-
God I hate St.Failure.
-
Well that makes zero sense. Doubt hes playing,
-
This is the only way StKilda can beat them. Pretenders, like Richmond.
-
Saints are 9th and we are 8th. Almost the same % as us. Its going to see saw like that all season I reckon.. there might be weeks we drop out of the 8 and they jump in.and vice versa. Hope GWS absolutely murder them.

TEAM SELECTION AND MATCH PREVIEW - ROUND SEVEN
What replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hawks fans wont be happy that Clarko dropped Brand. He has been better than both Gibson and Frawley this season and is their future. -

He wont be in the team next week if he doesn't have a good game. And I mean good, not like the last two weeks where hes done nothing. Kent and ANB are ready to come in for him. -

Probably his turn for a rest, like Stretch the week before. -
We dont need a big fish. Save our cash for Gawn, Oliver, Petracca, Hogan, Salem, Hunt etc etc They will all field huge offers from other clubs when they are out of contract next.

TEAM SELECTION AND MATCH PREVIEW - ROUND SEVEN

Agreed. Happy to see Wagner back. Even if he doesnt make the cut this week it will be very soon. Thought his debut season was very underrated, not many first year players show that sort of composure especially off half back (although he was mature aged). He found the ball with ease, showed good foot skills and laid a lot of tackles. He can play on taller forwards too which is a bonus. Basically, a huge upgrade on Melksham and O Mac. -

Hawks team still looks strong on paper. An illusion however, as they are now old and slow. Am glad O'Meara is playing. -
One of the hosts... no idea who, I didn't hear it, was told by a mate. Hopefully it wasnt Jon Ralph.

Agreed. All seven on the bench are better options. This week is his last chance to deliver, or hes gone. -

So much for Goody playing favourites with Melksham. Thats a relief. -

HEAD TO HEAD Overall Melbourne 75 wins Hawthorn 85 wins This is surprising. Felt it would be more like Hawthorn 125 vs Melbourne 75 -
It was on SEN yesterday. Not sure if they have an article on their website.
-
If the rumours about us chasing Steven May and Jake Lever are true, perhaps the coaching staff isn't so high n O Mac. I'd prefer Frost to Dunn though. Dunn wouldn't be in our team if he was still around.
-
Along with the Oliver article, theres another article on the HeraldSun website comparing Christian Petracca to the greats of the game. I guess the lid is off.
-
SEN reported today (grain of salt , I know) that we are targeting Jake Lever and Steven May. Looks like a key back is on the menu.
-
He has kicked 17 goals in his last 12 games.
-
I watched the replay again, and Daniher actually did that at the beginning of the third quarter. I thought it was the start of the game. Either way it is equally cringeworthy.
-
Surprisingly the gameplay looks good. Players actually have a turning circle unlike every other AFL ever made where you could run in completely unnatural straight lines without needing to turn or change direction. It made tackling a joke.
