  1. Waste of time. Lets hope it knackers Port for the rest of the season though, as we race them to the 8. Sounds like a long plane ride. Hopefully the game is one of Chinas smoggiest cities.
  2. Cheers Jane. The seeming lack of publicity is disappointing. I assumed it was the game vs the Bulldogs, like other seasons.
  3. Hawks will get Rioli and Birchall back for Sundays game. Will be interesting to see if Clarko swings the axe. More likely he gives his team one more chance to turn their season around vs us. We must be on our game.
  4. Id be shocked if the gameplay didnt suck, but the game can be salvaged if they have a good simulation/career mode thing. Kind of like those soccer manager games that do big business.
  5. It is close thats for sure. Id have Wagner, Vandenberg and Kent in the team ahead of Melksham, Bugg and ANB though. Hannan is now in my best 22, hes looking like he could be a real weapon for us. I would guess a lot of supporters would have Brayshaw in the best 22 ahead of him though.
  6. Id like to play it cos its an AFL game, but they have all been so terrible in the past. It just seems like a sport thats impossible to capture well in video game format.
  7. In - Hogan, Stretch Out - JKH (ommitted), ANB (rest)
  8. He would need to do a Tonya Harding on a few of our big bodied inside mids for him to get selected. Can't see Trenners playing seniors unless we get a heap of injuries to those mids. He is behind a lot of players.
  9. Out of form and still gets 30 touches, 9 inside 50s and some coaches votes. Not bad. Definitely needs to tidy up his kicking though.
  10. Would love to see the vote leaderboard for The Age and Herald Sun player of the year awards, but cant find them on either horrible website.
  11. Of course you would take Luke Breust. Anyone that says otherwise is kidding themselves.
  12. Yesterday I was hoping that Jobe was not a late withdrawal as he is such a liability now. In the same vein, I am hoping Jaeger O'Meara plays this Sunday. Bloke is cooked.
  13. You would need a minimum $1.5 million per year offer to even considering going to play for St.Failure
  14. He thankfully seemed to have his burst speed back, which makes you wonder if he was carrying an injury the first 5 rounds.
  15. All 17 goals http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2017-05-01/rd-6-all-the-goals
  16. As long as he stays on the park he will make a run at the Bluey, he is that good. Speaking of the BLuey, this will be the best count in a long, long time. Last years winner JV would have barely polled so far , while Oliver and Watts are surely leading.
  17. I think Stretcher will come in. Seemed more like a rest week than a demotion anyway. He also played very well vs the Hawks last season. His run and spread gave them problems.
  18. Just saw the footage of Joe Daniher hugging and smiling a very uncomfortable looking Hibberd as the ball was about to be bounced. Cringed so hard. It was almost as cringey as his reaction to finally kicking a goal. Daniher has the brain of a child. If he played for Melbourne we would be tearing him apart for his body language.
  19. Geez, imagine if we took Parish ahead of him and Oliver was dominating for Essendrug. Shudders......
  20. Yes we know, you remind us every week in the changes thread. Killjoy.
  21. Thats nowhere near as bad as the calls for Weideman to come back in on the back of two weeks out, a sore calf and horrible form preceding it. I see Patrick McCartin kicked 7 goals in the VFL on the weekend. When Weid is having games like that he should be considered for a recall, and not a minute before.
  22. With Lewis and Hibberd back and Wagner to likely get his chance soon, I think you will get your wish DA. All of Vince, Hunt and Salem released to the midfield is a lovely thought. We are seriously deep there.
  23. Not sure about the record, but he had the most in the AFL for Round 6. Sidenote - Dom Tysons nine inside 50's were second most for the round. If he can just clean uphis kicking even a little bit he will be so much more dangerous. http://www.footywire.com/
  24. Biggest concern is that Pedders will face his first real test vs Sam Jacobs. We will concede the hitouts by a huge margin in that game, and Jacobs knows how to hit to advantage.
