If we get up over the Dogs without Watts, Hogan and Gawn... oh boy. If he doesnt get up we should see Petracca exclusively at FF this week, give him the 50 metre arc to himself at let him roam like a caged animal.
-
Nice change from circa 2012-2014 when the All the Goals videos went for about 45 seconds most weeks.
-
Words cant describe how big of a get Lever would be, for every reason imaginable.
-
Well the AFL has to fit in as many Essendrug players as they can each week as part of their agenda to give them as much positive press as possible after the drug saga. Just watch, there will be 4 or 5 Bombers in the AA team even if they miss the finals.
-
The Dogges have been so mediocre this season and were pitiful last Thursday night.. they remind me of the 2009 Hawks , who missed the finals the year after winning the grand final. Im a bit surprised they are $1.50 favourites against us this week.
-
Doubt Gawn or Spencer play this week. The Dogs dont have a ruckman. Their highest hitout winner last round was Tim English with just 8. Pedders can be the main man for one more week.... then Gawny in to face West Coast.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
What replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
He has to be in the AA team. Dont give me this Elliott Yeo, Sam Docherty, Jeremy Howe bull [censored]. Hes better than all three of them. -
Just did the AFL.com ladder predictor (a flawed exercise I know). Tried to be as realistic as possible Had the Demons finishing 6th with 12 wins and 112% It was a scary exercise though, as the 8 changes so much from week to week. For example with three rounds left I had us in 11th position before winning the last three games. Going into Round 22 with two games left, Essendon, Collingwood and West Coast were all in my eight. After the last game all three were out, replaced by Melbourne, Gold Coast and Richmond. This is gonna be a scary run home, but awesome too. Just thank heavens were are in the hunt finally after a decade.

His second half of the season will be a lot better than his first... hes built for the grind of the 22 games, plus finals (where we will of course be).

Petracca got the full 10 coaches votes as well as BOG n every media outlet. He has the midas touch and everything he does impacts the game. How often would a 18 possession, 3 goal game be a unanimous best on ground? His impact on the contest is amazing. Just wait til he really heats up. A 30 possession, 5 goal game will come soon enough.

Drafting the best midfield talent available in preparation for the succession plan when Lewis, Vince and Jonesy hit the wall. Which for the frst two, may be happening as we speak or has at least begun to. Jonesy obviously still a gun with plenty of great footy left, but he will be 30 soon. Also, with question marks on Angus Brayshaw, we must let Jason Taylor weave his magic in Round 1 of of this years draft and continue to add to the midfield. Trading our first rounder for Gunston would be a big mistake.

I would love to see Petracca play permanent full forward (with some stints up the ground when needed). He is in the Ablett Snr/A Jakovich mould and that is an orgasmic thought. Obviously he will move to the midfield more regularly, but Petracca at FF and Hogan at CHF is the stuff of dreams... brings back memories of the A Jakovich/Lyon and Neitz/Schwarz combos. We have a very special talent on our hands.

Round 15, under the Friday night lights vs the Swans at the G' .... seems like a good bet for his return game.
-
Well the Cats and Tigers games we only lost due to mid game injuries. So thats 8-3 we should be at if we weren't cursed. We absolutely threw away the Hawks and Freo games, lost both by under a kick. If we had a ruckman in those games we'd be 10-1. The North loss we didn't deserve to win, though likely would have with a ruckman. You could make a case that we should be 11-0.
-
Its actually three 6 day breaks, jnr. Just to make things more complicated.
-
He wont, it was a bad call. I watched the replay and his pressure was great, and he was involved in a lot of key plays in the final quarter. His first half was horrible, but he turned it around big time.
-
Check out Hibberds game saving spoil with 1:40 left. If he didnt get a fist on that, De Goey would have been lining up to give them the lead and possibly the match. The spoil went to O Mac, who kicked along the ground to Harmes, who kicked to Watts in space.. and the rest is history.
-
Changing my out to Harmes instead Remembering ANB had some nice moments in the last quarter
-
Would still like to see him tried forward, something about him tells me it would be a successful move. His brother cant play there thats for sure.
-
True, totally forgot about that. Still an extra 4 days than us, so I am gonna continue to whine.
-
In - Gawn Out - Neal Bullen (22 ineffective touches, constantly bad decision making)
-
We have some handy players running around in the VFL. Wagner and Stretch will come into the team over the next month you'd think. JKH will get another shot too.
-
4 of the current top 8. Adelaide, GWS, WB, Port Weve already beaten Adelaide on their home deck. GWS will be tough but the Blues just beat them. Doggies and Port are barely holding on to their spots in the 8.
-
hahahahaahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa May they cry themselves to sleep and be angry and depressed all week. Losers.
-
Already watching the replay. Wont be the last time this week.
