yeah he's not that bad mate, Ollie is going to be a future star. The disposal will get better, just like Toumpas will get better. I have no doubt that Toumpas, Wines and Viney are going to be 3 stars of the future

What is the one thing that has kept you going?

my absolute love and passion for the Melbourne Football Club and AFL -
i dont think Port would accept even pick 1 for Ollie Wines. He has proven his worth this year as good as a pick 1 would. I'd love love love it, but unfortunately couldn't/wouldnt happen.

i think Uncontested possession comes down to 3 things. 1. workrate, the harder you run off the ball, the more uncontested possession. 2. Confidence, once the players get confident enough to run off there players to work for the ball than that will be evident. 3. general will and hunger to win.

Just recruit ball magnets who attack the footy

i think Neeld was horrible for Trengove.. but it can be brought to good use. especially when he starts attacking again -
when a player is awarded a free against in a tackle, such as a high tackle, the tackle doesnt go down on the statistic sheet. therefore Sylvia's tackles were fair dinkum

recruit in the draft someone who plays like Viney. than either trade a player for a pick or pickup a mature aged player from another team who plays like viney. i'd be willing to give up Sylvia for one of them. (and Sylvia is one of my favourite players) -
he is all class
-
no that's not true, it's part of a plan to develop young players so in a few years we can actually challenge for something real (a big cup) i woul rather have Toump the way he is now and not be as good as wines. but in 2-3 years Toump will be way ahead of Wines. the guys skills are a highlight to watch

someone recruit a Viney 2.0 and trade for a Viney 3.0 than we'll be right -
I am interested in your thoughts.....

unnecessary comment from you. from my memory, Trengove has elite endurance... just lack of speed at the moment he will gain that speed back -

funny you say that, i have admired his defensive capabilities i reckon he could turn into an absolute gun... speed is a definite issue -

if we were to snare Dale Thomas somehow, we he go number 1 on the list -

Anyone feeling the love for Trengove, Grimes or Howe? i reckon he could become unstoppable (Howe) with more experience he's a rare talent -
From what i've seen i like the looks of Hogan more than Jeremy Cameron Hogan will just power through players, the kids a young Jono Brown Hopefully without the stupidity in packs though

most important Interested to know why you've put Hogan and Viney in there? as they have only played a small handful of games -
For a long time i have pondered who people think Melbourne's most important player is i'd be interested to see in order of top 5 1. Nathan Jones 2. Colin Garland 3. James Frawley 4. Jack Watts 5. Colin Sylvia i just think Howe could be in there in the near future as could Trengove interested to see your thoughts on this

loving all of your comments here!!!! haha honestly, just to show us some of his talent

Jack Grimes- beautiful disposal Jimmy Toumpas- same as grimes Davey- with footy in hand is one of the most dangerous in the game we have players with good kicks and silky skills, even Dom Barry develop him rather than giving up a pick for someone who is lazy
-
i'll admit he takes the game on sometimes but as soon as the going gets tough he puts his head down and doesnt get down and dirty. not the type of player the MFC need. What happens when in the future we are in tight games with quality sides such as Sydney... we need a tough nut, i would not want someone who has good skills, we have plenty of those players. lets go through them Lockett: total freak, one of the of the greatest modern forwards Ablett Snr: Freak Buddy: hardly lazy, dont even put him in the same sentence as Yarran Stewart- dont know who he is S Johnson: gun player, not lazy, works his ass off Farmer: Talented, but could have been better Jakovich: Gun, not lazy at all Schwartz: not lazy either, it was evident though when wasnt playing to his potential there is room for improvement, i agree. but not at the MFC

You guys have said for so long Sylvia has attitude issues and that's letting us down. Than why the hell would you want to bring in a player like Chris Yarran who also has attitude issues? You'd be starting forums each week to complain.... Atleast Sylvia is working on his attitude issues and is progressing, i dont see any improvement from Yarran's second season to now.. steer clear
-
look's very solid but i'd start Trengove on the wing and Fitzpatrick on the bench... Rotate Fitzpatrick with Dawes, Hogan, Clark and Watts but we need to remember! it's going to very rare that we get Hogan, Clark, Dawes and Watts all fit and playing in the same team. I remember with Jurrah and Aussie, it was rare getting them to play together
-
i actually noticed that.. but dont make it look like Nathan Jones is the unsung hero.. the club publicises time and time again their love for Jones
-
I'd trade pick 2 for Sloane. pick 2 for Rory Sloane and 3rd round pick he is an absolute Jet, he possess just what Melbourne need... a hard bodied dogish style player with Freakish amounts of talent Viney, Jones and Sloane could start explosions if combined in the centre
