  1. So now with Lycett gone is Vardy the Eagle's back up ruckman to Natanui ?
  2. Bradman's highest test score was 452
  3. some good logic there but GCS seem to be sick of May and remember although GCS get a low pick next year the recipient club pay nothing as well. So it's not quite the same. Well argued though
  4. his rumoured salary offer is $1M+ so he's definitely not a B grader https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-trade-whispers-carltons-1mplus-a-year-offer-for-dylan-shiel-may-push-rory-lobb-out-gold-coasts-offer-for-jake-lloyd/news-story/97a70d232862422c9b13f83362b932f7?nk=34fd14988ab099a0a18aab69e413ab5d-1539055136 It's a bit like us and Hogan.. GWS bat deep in the midfield area where by good luck we have 3 KPF's
  5. midfielders are where the gold is these days Richmond and Dog's success has seemingly dulled the need for KPF's. Another reason perhaps for keeping Hogan for 2019 if we don't get what we want as the fashion could change again with the WCE victory
  6. it could be played AFLX style Couldn't be worse than the usual pre match entertainment
  7. do you know what pick and approx money?
  8. Tyson's worth a mid second rounder so perhaps that's fair Heard on the Tyson thread that Tyson has said no to GC
  9. if 14 gets us May it's a deal. It probably won't so that's where life becomes interesting PS.. sorry where did Freo get pick 6 from?
  10. sounds simple but the low pick is there next year as well. The icing needs to be good to give up a player for a year while we are in the infamous premiership window. The only reason it might make sense is those who say we NEED may for our defence. I'm not sold on that idea.
  11. wish it was... it's just under 4 hours.. (3hrs 45 mins)
  12. wish it was... it's just under 4 hours.. (3hrs 45 mins)
  13. don't joke.... the media are already talking them up as you have posted.. 8 Friday night games on the way Conveniently forget that 6 weeks ago they were asking for compensation picks because they were such poor performers.
  14. OD, email is far too formal for the current crop as you call them ?
  15. Pretty good comms these days and Bali is no further from Perth than Melbourne
  16. off topic slightly but re Tim Kelly of Geelong what is the "stand out" period these days. Used to be a year. Not sure if it has been changed. By stand out I mean if you leave or refuse to accept an offer etc how long before you can join another club and do you have to rejoin via the draft etc. cheers
  17. It was meant to be traded. It's kind of the Clayton's second round pick. The priority given to the recipient clubs did not upset the other clubs with their various draft picks including for that matter the MFC.
  18. actually one of the leading libel by internet cases in Oz involves a man formerly very much involved with the MFC
  19. surely at Marvel stadium the means of communication would be suitably stellar Holographic at least
  20. we had almost a full house of Jacks a few years back A team of brothers..... I like it We could get both Kings and with the McDonalds and the Brayshaws we'd be half way towards a team
  21. 27 years old... hard to see much upside
  22. Suffered this year perhaps from being compared to Fritsch. Seemed to find his mojo towards the pointy end of the season. Needs to cement his spot in 2019 or he may be passed by others.
  23. Lobb is a seriously good link player who can also play ruck and forward. Definitely worth a first rounder. The debate would be over high, medium or low.
  24. one of my favourite diversions is watching the US series called Ballers. Recent episodes have included the recruitment of a high school player to a College. The role of the Booster or as he preferred to be called "a dedicated supporter" should not be underestimated.
  25. Of course they have . He's contracted to them for a relative pittance and was second or thereabouts in their B&F.
