  1. 26 possessions to a small half back Do we have a coach !!!
  2. kick straight anyone been our problem all year
  3. Here is an excellent article explaining when and how the GF can be watched. Foxtel/Kayo replay available at 11:15 Game can be streamed from 7plus app but only on certain devices (why I have no idea) You can stream the Grand Final live on the 7plus App, but only on selected TV’s or set-top-boxes. Importantly, you cannot watch the game through the 7 App on your mobile phone or tablet, as is the case for all AFL matches and the Brownlow Medal, which caught many people out on Sunday night (see below for info on how you can watch it on your mobile). This is due to broadcast restrictions put in place by the AFL. You can watch the game through the app on the following devices: Telstra TV, Samsung Tizen (2016 and later), Fetch TV, Apple TV, PlayStation 4 & 5, Android TV, Google TV, LG TV. You cannot use Chromecast or AirPlay to watch the Grand Final and you cannot watch a replay of the game on the app. https://www.austadiums.com/news/1054/how-to-watch-the-2021-afl-grand-final-+-live-stream Breaking news you can watch it on a mobile through the AFL app Some good news late Friday night by the AFL, with confirmation the AFL Grand Final will now be able to be streamed live on your mobile device through the AFL Live Official App
  4. I thought Jimmy Stynes as well. You can pick out the J and the S 1998 was his last year
  5. Congratulations to the selected 22. They have the chance to join that very special group of players. Go Dees
  6. It's fair the market determined Treloar was worth $X in 2021. That is what the Bulldogs are paying. Collingwood on the other hand are paying a $300k per year "penalty" to Treloar for getting the sums wrong. It could also easily have been us paying $200k a year had Tom Mac been traded last year.
  7. a new tune please Time to move on
  8. the doctor could lose his licence.... GF or not
  9. I have always thought that Smith and before him Petty made the better substitute simply because it is easier to cover a mid/small forward.
  10. Interesting discussion but there is this rule.... To be eligible for a medical substitution, the club doctor must decide that an injured player will be unable to play a game in the next 12 days.
  11. Love that Does it exist as a Gif that I can send to my bulldogs mate
  12. Premiership Merchandising is big money. Tigers in 2017 got around 3 times what the Buldogs pulled in after their win in 2016. I'd pay good money for a replay with alternate commentary and analysis by the coach and players. Like the extras that often came with DVD's. Let's hope that I'm still interested come Monday
  13. Wonderful photo Took me a while to orientate but it's the intersection of Bourke and Swanston looking up towards William Street. My guess is 1960/61 from the cars. I wonder if the Tivoli had become a cinema by then.(Can just be seen in the left foreground).
  14. spot on both of our finals so far probably should have been over at half time or very soon therafter but we gave the other team a sniff. Forecast conditions for Perth are excellent. With the game time at 5:15pm Perth time it should be around 22 degrees with a mild breeze. Oh to have a 7 goal to 1 first quarter and then just a ten point better margin for quarters 2 and 3 is my dream leaving the fourth quarter to be watched in the glorious cloak of victory.
  15. so who won the most team votes
  16. Free kick Bulldogs... what else did one expect
  17. Parish...... reminds you this is not the best but merely the best against the team they played that day
  18. did you expect it to be otherwise... the good thing is that is why we "should" win next Saturday
  19. remind me of how all the non competing players are present in Perth ?? Anastasia strikes again western style with ............. Sorry i'm losing it with these border closures
  20. I like Clayton's classic look If he does win nothing worse than being in the camel safari suit
  21. TBH I had forgotten it was on after having spent most of the day looking at the nuances (or lack thereof) of Dan's plan. Good luck young Oliver but I expect he may have too many team mates pulling votes off him. It will be sweet if we top the team votes. Not sure if we have done that since the glory days. Lots Peter Moore did it for us. In the old days players from lesser clubs were often favoured as they had less competition from team mates. Not sure why that has turned around but I suppose the game does not allow individual dominance like it once did.
  22. Have always said that every second or third year it should be played interstate. In normal times it would make for a fantastic week of fun and celebrations. Weather in Melbourne is suitably depressing next Saturday. I'm so mixed over what a win might mean. It will be welcome but hollow I think.
  23. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/the-calm-before-the-storm-dees-ramp-up-preparations-20210918-p58st8.html He was helped off the ground by trainers. It remains unclear how severe his injury is and if there was structural damage that could potentially rule him out of the season decider in seven days’ time. If Spargo was unable to play next Saturday, it could open up the door for speedster Jayden Hunt to be recalled and play as a forward. Alternatively, recent injury substitute James Jordon could be used as a half-forward and Hunt the sub.
  24. Was thinking of this game and also the 1988 game yesterday. Both over by quarter time. Have never watched them in full. Amazing that the 2000 Essendon team never won another GF. They were... unfortunately for us... awesome. Time for better memories. PS if we win I think there would be demand for a replay with multiple soundtracks. Imagine Gawn describing what he was thinking etc or Goodwin doing analysis
