CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
TMacs time at Casey will do him no harm. He dominated yesterday. The level of competition is an issue but that can't be fixed. Box Hill next week should be a good test for him though looking at the ladder they're not flying. Allowing for the competition level I think TMac's game at Casey just shaded Weid's game but let's see what the next 2 weeks bring

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
In the warmth of the morning it was a good win last night. Even though we stuffed up the goal kicking we aced the forward 50 entries over 3 at least of the 4 quarters. Strong signs

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Hoping for an Essendon win today. Deflates the Collingwood bubble and gives one the joy of seeing Essendon followers get false hope. Mixed over Hawks v Sydney but marginally desiring a Hawthorn win. Draw would be nice

Injuries and covid aside it's an easy decision this week. Rain predicted for Friday and Saturday

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Painful but we'll be better for the win. I'll accept tonight as an aberration.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Not a great display for prime time but I suppose all the opposition supporters are saying... How good are they if they kick straight

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Decided before the VFL game so it's just precautionary. If there was a real chance of an out he would not have played at all
-
CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Surprised he didn't get an offer from another club during the trade period but I don't see him dislodging Jordon in the pecking order.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Funny but I think Weid has only kicked more than 4 goals perhaps two or three times at VFL level. Once was 6 against Box Hill in 2018 (?)
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Forward marking will be the key along with accuracy. If we limit their marking in the forward 50 and take a few ourselves... game over. Expecting a heavy defensive press from the Tigers

The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
ok but at present Foxtel pay around 70% of the media rights. It's the FTA channels who have got the free ride
-
The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
The big difference this time is that Foxtel/Kayo is preparing for a public float and they are no longer so willing to loss lead. Believe me this one matters
-
The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
The unfortunate reality is that when you add the existing rights fees for AFL, NRL and cricket together no streaming company can make money in Australia. (10M households only). Thus it has to be bundled with something that compensates for the loss. Foxtel in taking massive losses on Sports for nigh on twenty years has left Australian sport with an unrealistic and unsustainable view of its worth

The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
If you wish to follow soccer it now requires a subscription to about four streaming platforms. Sure it's caused by the plethora of competitions (EPL, Champions League, World Cup etc) but it's an example of what might happen
