GAMEDAY: QF vs Sydney
Qualifying finals should be 50/50 games but this one is Melbourne's to win. Swans will pack our forward line and rely on the quick Z shaped play to rebound into theirs. We all know what the answer is and against Brisbane the first half showed that we can do it. Oliver is the key to the next premiership. Go Dees

FINALS 2022: Week 01
Can't get the exact breakdown but we had 241k over the three finals games. Perth held around 50k IIRC so that makes 95k approx for the 2 Melbourne games PS Found them v Geelong 92k v Hawthorn 90k v WCE 60k

FINALS 2022: Week 01
Beautiful weather for Brisbane tomorrow 23 degrees and light winds with no rain

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Can't see Geelong being prepared to give up a high draft pick for Grundy. They must be desperate to inject some more youth into their list
-
CHANGES: QF vs Sydney
Smith would be my choice of sub If we lose a small to medium we can cover but the loss of a tall upsets the balance. Dunstan is another possibility

List management - this year's tricky decisions
Hibberd definitely deserves another year. Short of Bowey there's no one really pushing to take his place at present Melksham is more problematic and I'll leave that one to the long term planners

Friday Night Pre Game Pub in the CBD
Magical times who can forget being in the dressing rooms pre and post those games. Northey was special in the way he embraced the everyday follower
-
ROAD TO THE GRAND FINAL
IF we win and Geelong lose we will go under $2 for the flag
-
Tom McDonald
let's say we win on Friday and Melksham has a poor to middling game. T Mac plays VFL the following week and plays a decent but not spectacular game Who gets picked for the PF And just to make it more interesting Smith kicks three and has four goal assists in the VFL game
-
Tom McDonald
42 It was also the number Jackie Robinson wore. The only number in sport to be retired across a whole competition *

The Young and the Restless (or how I hate Geeong and their old team)
And given our gameplan is boundary centric is it any wonder we lose.

Kayo Replay Quality Query
Kayo requires a steady internet connection of at most 10-13 mbs so most ISP's should be fine. Because it's live sport there is very little buffering compared to netflix etc. This means that if your connection is flaky although you may never know it during day to day use you can get problems with live sport. That being said 52mbs should be no problem. Is your TV/box connected by ethernet or wireless. Sometimes it can be a wireless issue in your home. I purchased a mesh router last year with a couple of satellites. Improved the home wireless connection enormously

Kayo Replay Quality Query
The excuse they gave for the replays a couple of years back is that is how they received the replay from the third party provider. The difference is frames per second. Live games are done at a higher fps rate. Looking forward let's hope that whoever gets the rights improves the picture quality dramatically. Not too much to expect 4k quality

2022 NAB Boys League Finals
What a strange finals system. Who wins at these levels is irrelevant but I would like to see the losing teams playing for position simply to ensure that all players get equal time to display their skills
