  1. What do port have to facilitate a trade ?
  2. Agree - the second half wasn't too bad either - the only reason they got in front was a cheap free to Ash Johnson who kicked 4 for the game We kick straighter we probably win that game.
  3. Carlton has had so much "luck" at the Tribunal that I think it's fair to say now that "luck" plays no part in these decisions.
  4. Whoever, plays on Moore has to stop or limit his intercept marking and run. Not an easy task mind you as he is very good at both. From an athleticism point of view, I'd be leaning toward Smith but if TMac is moving well perhaps he's the other option they will use.
  5. They do seem to have an air of confidence about them that their best is good enough. Even during the third quarter it never really felt the Swans would put too big a gap on us - like most games they had momentum and were getting their hands on the ball. Once we arrested the momentum its was largely one way traffic. Blown away by how skilled Fritta is - it was a joy to watch him live sinking daggers into the Swans from half chances that most other players would have butchered - he really is one of the most under rated players in the competition IMO. The only slight let down in the game was that the whole playing group didn't get over to the Dees fans in bay 2 after the game - not sure why because they would have received a stirring reception.
  6. I relocated from Melbourne also - tbh I've had my fair share of downthesinkacinnos there too - glad to hear you have managed to find an acceptable brew in Sydney.
  7. Keep him away from the harbour, the beaches and the weather - the coffee is fine in Sydney btw
  8. If he identifies as a Victorian and is accepted by us as a Victorian, then that's good enough, right?
  9. So, in the scenario I referred to you'd push JVR into the main ruck role? Not my preference
  10. I'm wondering who we think is our ruck back up should Grundy go and Max gets an injury. For me the cupboard would be well and truly bare - Schache isn't really up to it IMO and Verrall whilst showing potential is not ready and may not be for some time. If Grundy is going, I hope we are seriously looking at another ruck who can compete with the big boys.
  11. Thought he was a right footer ?
  12. Maybe - is he better than either of Petty or Joel Smith? Will Jefferson be better in 2 years? If we were talking about Larkey, McKay, Lynch or Allen I can see the appeal and clear point of difference of the taller player but for Georgiades I'm not so sure. Ultimately, I suppose it comes down to cost - if he isn't costing the earth then maybe worth a punt. He does have good hands I will give him that.
  13. Not saying he's a champion or anything but he is 1cm shorter than JVR and 6cm taller than Melksham who I see as the closest proxy in our current forward set up
  14. I absolutely hate losing but if a win against the swans means a trip interstate for a QF then I'm reasonably comfortable with a close loss at the SCG
  15. Have only seen a little bit of video but he does seem like a very good KP prospect.
  16. He was born in Port Augusta SA
  17. I'm a believer in Verrall, albeit he hasn't set the world on fire this season. He has had some serious injury challenges to overcome this year which has no doubt negatively impacted his fitness base which is critical in the role he is asked to play. Fingers crossed he gets a really solid pre-season in 2024 and can really start to show some solid form. Depending on where we land with ruck stocks next year I wouldn't mind getting a look at him as a tall forward option.
  18. That was Grundy (replacing Jackson) - the others you mentioned weren't really getting game time anyway (Daw, Brown, Weid) Unfortunately, Grundy hasn't been able to deliver what we all hoped - so far.
  19. Ladhams is hopeless I really hope he isn't ever considered for the MFC
