Based on what has been said and what I have read so far, I have no problem whatsoever about Melksham taking a swing at May. Any player drunk or sober would have been quite within his right to do the same, and to actually say that, the person who copped it should have been aware of what might have been coming, drunk or sober as well I regard this comment as tantamount to calling someone somewhat inadvertently a coward, and I presume Melksham took it that way as well. I may be wrong with this so be it but no one is perfect

The media is now intent on taking either individually or collectively the MFC out of Finals calculations. So it will persist for a few weeks until we say lose our next three games and the discord is happening amongst ourselves including Officials. I'll say it again ,close ranks completely from now until the end of H Games, or be prepared. I would hate to think what the umpiring will be like this week.

This should be the last straw for any supporters here to ever think that the Media thinks of anyone except themselves.They are scum and feed off Clubs as how and who it suits. When a footy Club runs direct competition successfully against the Media, well... I would ban the media after this game win or lose. In fact close the shop up as much as possible for rest of home season. Pretty human Club that we follow boys and girls..

That's not true. We would getting stuck into the media for kicking when someone's down and I stuck it right up another footy club for that and walked out.

...and I would consider giving a spot to Melksham and just tell him to kick a few goals and see what happens..

The free kick stat only matters where and when they are given... like Carlton ..they are always in the Forward line. The fine line now between mark and free kick always decides play on or go back and take the kick.This is another fine line to which Club it is being given to. Reid last week kicked three straight which confused things more because that doesn't happen. In-between pushing Max in the back along with lurch the other ruckman. Yet they all say what a great player Max is ...how good would he be if he didn't get interference thirty times each game. Don't forget that if he goes too early he will be pushed or ridden and potentially in this dirty dangerous push in the back times we are in, it could easily lead to him getting knocked out or worse in the forward momentum.

Ok I agree and hope the ill winds of injury, injustices and imprudence pass into scant memory..... A good win would do.

It would be fine if it was consistent ,but it's not and it varies from week to week game to game and team to team, and that has a demonstrable effect on the game rules perceived consistency.

Fair enough, struggle with repetition sometimes. The thing is though as soon as the media get a sniff of us talking about Dynasty that is something the AFL don't want a bar of .Things like how are they going to be beaten? Ah I know let's brink them back to earth with a few crucial free kick decisions at a few critical times.Losses start, enthusiasm drops. What I do is look at other games and say why was such and such paid and not paid in that game etc etc. .

Three soft marks/goals and another for an unexpected goal gift by maggot no2, which he was duly thanked for, and we would have won by at least three goals ..

At least Papley thanks the Umpire No 2 when he gets a free kick in the Fwd pocket.I couldn't see any reason why our players would want to thank any of the maggots tonight.They were deplorable. The have it down to a fine art of seeing if there is advantage, which club it is and calling it or not. We got very few that positionally meant anything. By the way that maggot disguised a smile after Papley thanked him..
