  1. Yep, bathwater till someone pulled the plug on Kelly. Right across the team now blokes are automatically taking first choices with confidence. Chaos ball is BS.
  2. Vandenberg in. why not.
  3. That's the spirit OD.
  4. Pretty fair, no mention of being tired, cocky or slowing down, but in between the lines those are the X factors in my book. Those traits in my op are there, just a little bit visible at the moment, and are bubbling underneath, not unlike what was said about us for many years after our "silver age" What the heck i think we actually can afford to lose this game. No pressure on us, we lose, we learn, feet on ground stuff, we win, the doubt starts creeping in minds, much much more than the legs and the arms feeling as though, i've done enough. We were told in the late sixties and seventies, that our problem was everything had been being left to the few, well Dusty that's history repeating itself, except your the bunny...
  5. God help the wrath that will reign down on the player/backman that doesn't go down the line when he should.
  6. I think reluctantly you are right. There is a discussion in my mind to be had to include conditions, obviously along with injuries, in team selections. We could quite possibly win this game in the middle, and cut off supply to R"S forward line, Lynch and Riewoldt who kicked six against Hawthorn. May is a key key here, but more so in September than not at all. Not all eggs in basket or on show just to prove to [censored] media that we have them. In past years the Tigers haven't brought out both their big forwards together until mid to late season unless they have to, like now.
  7. 6....Gawn 5 Langdon 4 Lever 3 Oliver 2 Petracca 1 Jackson
  8. May will not play, no need to rush him back in Weideman deserves to get his guernsey. No need to rush Benny, just miles in his legs Don't like too many little blokes against the Tiges, but who says we cannot rest players against the Tigers . Give them something to think about also. By Jove's, it would look rather good though if we showed them up for lack of pace
  9. I heard(NPI) we asked the AFL that our new recruiting area be EFC.
  10. Remember this is the EOYF year chaps.....two nouns, one pronoun and one adverb.
  11. I hope to be discussing after this game the different affects on game plans/ style (Yze) in concert with full game time mental commitment (Williams) might have on the game. Hopefully the combination of both, and indeed all three.
  12. Preliminary Final........we owe them , big time, "baskets"
  13. If the new look is to stamp out the infringement of the arm/wrist/shoulder etc when going for marks, i cannot see a problem with going tall. IE. Majak, Macca and Brown.
  14. Majak fan here. Love to see him kick a couple and the men get around him...
  15. How many players hold out for more money and more interest when they observe how a club and the world revolves now. Looking at Ollie's hands i understand now how he can just pick the ball out of tight spots with ease like a pick pocket.
  16. Just maybe there needed to be some clear air done. I reckon if it was still around Williams would have picked up on it.
  17. Pretty corny........just saying
  18. Funny how they all look just about the same age, yet they are not, and ANB and Spargo are sharp shooters. Funnier still how cocky Clark and miskick Miers couldn't get over being rushed and being caught.
  19. Saw a pretty meaningful moment for me during last week's game, forgotten who we played, but two of our tough nuts both together at the same moment tackled an opposition player, with a ferocity that i hadn't seen for a couple of decades. Ill just leave it up to you who i'm talking about.
  20. The interesting part of this scuttlebutt is not the interest from Clubs in a good player from a wandering Club, but that a Team/Club that would have usually been referred to as not a realistic choice or manager suggests a club without a future, to all of a sudden a team with strength, future and formidable ball winners. True but how pathetically ironic.
  21. I'm just hoping i don't look any uglier when i have the vaccine.
  22. ...and in my day an innovation on the buggy was a seat.
  23. That's a motorized buggy you're talking about SL?

This weeks AFL word of the week "accidental", wonder they can spell it..
  25. Noticed Max yesterday seemed to be noticeably moving the ball, one way or the other, from the centre bounce more further forwards. With Kozzie and others there, this is causing beautiful headaches, and you miss your dead.
