This weeks AFL word of the week "accidental", wonder they can spell it..
  2. Noticed Max yesterday seemed to be noticeably moving the ball, one way or the other, from the centre bounce more further forwards. With Kozzie and others there, this is causing beautiful headaches, and you miss your dead.

Sorry to say i can, from a long time ago relate to this "accidentally bent elbow", big Tribunal night that....

Bent elbow, deliberate, form, sore looser, self righteous repentant, shifty.... not all in the team, mind yu..
  5. Apparently Umpires in our game took an average of five seconds extra time to make individual judgements about free or holding ball in regard to Geelong players than ours. Don't ask me how i know........HQ?.
  6. I think there is fair conversation to be had about Jetta, and am also combining this as being a more serious and problematic issue for our selectors to solve than what a lot on here seem to think. Day is a definite, no argument, so that is/should be at least two changes, and depending, like it should be in every game, any match up worries, quite possibly a couple more.
  7. Yes, replay needs to be watched before it mysteriously disappears. Initially thought accidental, then a little doubt crept in when slow motioned. Elbow became bent just before contact, i think.
  8. 6 Oliver 5 Petracca 4 Gawn 3 Viney 2 Salem 1 Langdon Really interesting situation over the ground occurring now. There are doubles of similar types of good players now like Hunt and Langdon, Ollie and Petracca, Jackson and Gawn, and Fritch and Spargo, and May and Lever. Complimentary differences.
  9. Touchy subject tomorrow, as one gets older you're not so sure... Even about yesterday.
  10. Ahh, i can smell it. The wind , the liniment and the muddy boots...
  11. Father got that [censored]##one night and forgot what his surname was and started a new life in Victoria..
  12. Sort of agree, but we have to keep turning/blending players through, for all sorts of reasons. I'm thinking that the top sides like WC and Tig continually fed players through right up until GF, and successfully too. I can under stand the two big fellas not yet but choices like Melksham and Hibbert should be really about hardness/experience in and around the contest, and late changes are worth the points These two would be sniffing the end of the year with every step.
  13. ...and we're still wearing masks up here in the heat. Moving though, had enough snakes and crocodiles and fevers .etc.
  14. And it will be a total duck dive bonanza from the the Geelong wussys come the weekend. The plan of course is like always. Use the poor buggers in yellow to exaggerate everything while playing on, snide hits behind play, and stretching the rules to the point where no rules apply to them. What i want to see is Goodwin walk through their huddle at three quarter time or/and Ollie best on G...
  15. There's at least three blokes in MFC that one should not tangle with, and one of them might surprise.....
  16. Hocking, good tough player, knew a free kick when he played for it...
  17. Why don't we just tranfer the whole Team over to Collingwood. they want Weideman, Petracca, Oliver and they are sniffing around Kossie and Spargo. The Television Media are in a beverage filled stupor over a Club they, unless the mums and dads told them, have never even heard of, let alone had to study conscientiously, so at last, in line with doing a job, just have to actually work creatively and not just heresay.
  18. Half fit Vandenberg would solve the problem, as to could the rest of the Mid brigade.
  19. Just shows you how bad the tactic was to tag Oliver. If the bloody coaching was up to scratch at GWS the y would have tagged Petracca or the Genius. They do the driving. Oliver is the motor cutting the grass...
  20. Could someone talk to the Umpires about the preferential treatment that's give to their Full Forward, i have forgotten his name. Like why is he the only one in the AFL that is allowed to take steps in either direction, when he is on the mark, and play on has not been called ? Why is he the only one that is allowed to push people in the back indiscriminately during play? Why is he, like other Geelong players allowed to abuse the umpires and then carry out conversations as though being counselled like children? What is it between Geelong and Umpires although some interesting pictures in the Hawthorn Game just before the end there...
  21. When it's not done often enough in a Team it stands out, and good teams really use/ value it.

Big crop arrived at Port Geelong last night, i hear..
  23. The blokes who played in the first match didn't have any real match practice either.
  24. Don't agree, we are a team of many options, all frothing at the bit to get a run and prove themselves, after all it's only Cats
  25. We don't need to have the same Team members in every game even though we are winning. It's all about fitness shared with the blending of experience.
