2024 MRO & Tribunal
Scrutiny is not going to stop the AFL from looking stupid, which is precisely how they look now. And the fines should not be allowed to corral the offence into a category

2024 MRO & Tribunal
What a great summary of what should be, along with racism, the two priority issues of the year.

Where will the Dees finish after round 24?
All of the above and I'm not discounting a couple of players staying at the Club after they finish playing. We have pretty well the best FB aand FF and the best Ruckman in the comp that are ready to pass on a heap of knowledge to their understudies. Their understudies are moving up with experience quickly. I didn't see anything in any of the matches played so far that resembled our discipline, our finesse or variation. If that's what it looked like, then that's what it is. I say top 4and nothing less and i don't want to touch on 2 prime reasons stirring everyone who supports these players and this Club, and me.

Compensation for the loss of Angus
Looks like then we dodged not just a bullet but a bloody big raving lunatic. Acting under no one's orders, i think not.

Compensation for the loss of Angus
Just think about the consequences of that hit. Maynard should have retired already in my book just because he knows what he did. It's like if you are involved in an accident and someone is seriously injured , and it's your fault. The inclination would be very hard to ignore, but he must be going through that. When these things happen, lives are changed forever

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 19th January 2024
Personally i don't think there were that many who wanted him in particular dropped. I think it was more frustration at what was happening generally over the ground. There were quite a few times the team had games won and something happened, we lost...

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 19th January 2024
Not having a shot DD but if his turnovers occur during critical stages of the game, doesn't that mean that he actually HAS the ball whereas twenty or so others do not. As i recollect at least two maybe three occasions last year at critical stages he was the one who had the ball and kicked two or maybe three of those clutch goals.

Any word on Angus?
Saw an interesting clip that i hadn't seen of Maynard swerving at the las t second in the air to make head head high contact with Brayshaw. Dog of an act by Maynard and all concerned on that side of footy including the bloody coach and the AFL. The AFL continue NOT to protect players and their families with a total disregard for their safety and also continue to belittle players with "airy fairy taps" in regard to race abuse which continues to happen in every game. Well done AFL.

First game?
My first Game. Now this is purely memory of a long time ago. I don't remember who they were playing, but did Geelong play someone in a demonstration game pre season, or was it a home game, and it was during, or had something to do with the Olympic Games. I just remember they were in it. Is that right? Maybe someone else remembers. I was in the outer. Other early games were where i remember MFC were in. But i don't know the years, just the players. Bluey Adams, I think he was a professional Runner, Him because he was a runner as was my father in the SG. He ran against a Spargo there. Tassie Johnson because he drop kicked at the kick outs to the centre, no problems. They all drop kicked even in the wet. Thinking back now it was amazing. Richmond Bull Richardson and Paddy Guinane, they never quite mastered the art of kicking. Surely someone else remembers these two. Thats it.

Any word on Angus?
One would think that every student that expert had in his class last year would have failed the unintentional contact question.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Closed Sessions at Casey until 2024
I didn't think that we lost that many important players, and if so they were at the end of the season and apart from two, Oliver and Petty, they were really below best ten, or 15.
