Just a big shout out to Razor for his even handed effort yesterday in our game along with the whole compliment of Umpire folk who stood our game. They were barely noticed.......great. Kossie is being groomed for a special job, coming up for a special day against a good player. The amazing thing is he doesn't have to change position.,,,

North are harder, faster and fitter than last year. Goldie is tireless and their in 50 entries are good. I hope we win, because it is becoming evident we are being quietly neutralised through two, intention to cause weaknesses. The first is most head free kicks being called play on therefore bringing doubt to the way we play, and the second is the time differential in calling play on after stoppages. Ours is many seconds shorter than ALL other teams, and that makes us rush decisions and directions. As well our FB gets nowhere near the amount of space/time given to other teams on all kick outs.

I wouldn't have any talk on indicating resting anyone. every bit of Media plays up questions to teams that we play saying lying questions on us resting, and we get the backwash..

Grundy stood up in my book when JVR got the knees in the back after taking the mark of the day. Always loved that in players i coached.

Yesterday was a manufactured Game. not sure what Free Kicks were paid in last qtr, but if they had paid anymore to TWSNBN they wouldn't have got out alive. It was all about a spectacle up until then, from three qtr time it was who lasted long enough.

So many holes in that argument. They do and it happens to this Club often... Also players going the wrong way again, because they don't know what is going on either. So we have the situation, the combatants don't know. The Umpires don't know. The Public don't know. The AFL don't care.. That particular guy picks decisions quite often that are very very controversial, when it comes to us. The smiling assassin my name for him.

That's coming from an umpire that does not know the difference between a ball travelling 15 mtrs or more about 20 times a match.? And this decision, if correct, had been made how many times this year or last year....?

Personally Carlton are/were teetering. Cripps BLM getting picked up more than twice for throwing in one game. Umpire favourites for week. Paying short passes of less than 15 mtrs. Actually paying marks.

Anyone notice the number of times both Teams players in Melb game against TWSNBN ran in the wrong directions after decisions. Now when does that happen??

First paragraph, no he didn"t, he was already there at that height and stationary. No one should categorize every decision to be the same, because they do not have the same result. Second paragraph, one shouldn't applaud a decision that had an obvious intention to contact and hurt instead of wrap up, with the same result. Umpire carelessness in my opinion and resulted in trauma and concussion, which could have been avoided. Third paragraph, aside from statistically what part of the umpiring did we have the better of ? Free kicks in forward line, Fifty metre penalties?? Dangerous uncalled tackles? I am trying to be honest but i do love the Club and their players and try that balance every year against magnanimous odds of stupidity and constant bias and manipulation of things like rule of the week and secret rule of the week and favouritism and Brownlow Medal......
