I thought that Hogan's game against Footscray was a breakout game to be honest. I also think think that the way he played it was instrumental in our approach to forward entry, which really looked good from a spectacle viewpoint. The fact that this ex player who happ ens to have come from the same Club where a CHF (Carey) of the highest quality played, has not been lost on me. I would think there has been a lot of talk this week about Hogan and his more intense aggression at the ball.

This has been crossing my mind too, but i'm sort of feeling it might not be that bad provided we have three tall forwards in form and Brayshaw firing..........

Was there any perceptible evenness afterwards or did we just run away with it then?

Is this the turning point for the year? MFC loves umpires and vice versa?

When he plays on his left he seems to have a lot more time, but someone who is just starting out and can kick 50 mtrs either foot in a side that last year were regarded as a bunch of kids, and then this year go out and catch up six months footy play, it's amazing. Wait until he takes two or three more paces and lowers the eyes......

There's a lot of good players around that never got a chance to play at the highest level. Some players get to pick where they want to play, some don't care as long as they play, and some don't get a choice. It's all relative

Could/would/should a recent purportedly suppressed Survey done by the Media/AFL have read like of the Twenty/ Forty Top AFL Umpires, Five of Each supported C, C, E and G. Of the Twenty Left various supported Interstate, with a smattering of One or two to BDogs, M and NM. That would explain a lot.
