Wouldn't be surprised if Brayshaw doesn't want to even play at freo anymore, and something difficult is going down. Eg: WC win the Flag and someone walks on possible 1.1 per annum, and it's all happy and gay in a 40 million dollar club up the road and because they are all in the same town life goes on as if nothing has happened.

If Gaff wasn't in this equation i would have thought hard on Brayshaw, but i reckon it's complicated. I also think there's a couple of young beauties at Footscray, but hard to prise out. There is also a value player to think hard on turning a son of a gun into a gun backman MK2 from Black and white

Two things Gaff would have seriously learnt in the last two weeks: He's got the monkey on his back from WC/Flag, and all who sail in her, and He's not going to readily get rid of it at North.....

Would it be fair if Team consideration indicated to the powers that be that the situation could be solved by compelling Hogan to sign a reasonable contract over a five year period that would get the pesky press off his back and the whole Club could get on with winning a Flag

The only problem with that, that springs to mind immediately is that the rest of the Team has to "believe" enough to play alongside him for all of next year, keeping in mind most will have signed up for the long haul at "team umbrella rates" possibly.

Sadly though, i'm still happy, and lever can play forward anyway....

If Goodie had have been coaching them this year they would have won the flag, that's the difference.
