Just a note on the Umpires......they have finally mastered the art of subverting the course of games by manipulating when and where to pay free kicks and when to play on. just one example , let several shorter than short passes be allowed and then stop the next one. Just bad luck if it happens to be your Team and whatever position the player is in, like no advantage or three blokes hanging off him.

This goal personifies everything that every MFC Player has to do to win, for every minute of every game from here on in......

Never seen a team run on Adrenalin like TWSNBN does....

Just about agree with total of Page 15 and add that Jackson with a year under his belt and maybe a Laird to the list would be a tremendous help.

Hate having a go at any MFC Players but it looked pretty worse yesterday when the pressure was on and decision making was the premium. Not withstanding that we never get a fair go from the umpires and this game had interpretations that seemingly didn't even get noticed in other games, i'm very afraid there were several standouts of softness in the ranks. I want them removed from next weeks game against whoever we are playing' I would like to remember a game where the standout feature from it was the hardness of all the MFC Players, win or lose....

I've just gone onto the AFL website and looked for the Rules. Apparently they are not there anymore, and the person i messaged said the Umpires were told to "throw them out the window".

Battle of the half back lines this game. A lot of speed and pressure. Maybe close to DH...

Mal B was a big lad who liked going to "Sportsmen's Nights" at Moorabbin etc..

A very moving game...at one point half the players were over the boundary the other half were on the ground.......slight exaggeration.

I'm sick to death of our ruckmen, and good players they are for us as well, getting kneed in the back and fended out of contests. The umpires to their credit have picked up on this and are now starting to pay some frees off the ball. However one of the things they will need to pick up on in this game is not all on ballers like the Bont are clean. There are a couple of the Scragger boys who have been around for a while who play like their parent used too.....

The cynic in me says that one could be forgiven for thinking that the AFL would "loooove" to have two QLD teams in the Finals seeing that's where many of the games will be played

Preuss fan here. Popular bloke in my estimates who quickly summed up the opposition of Grundy who tends to go early and {P}does not avoid the conflict. Wanted it straight on all the time, and he's a big boy. The little i know from ruckwork in some ways is nearer to my heart with Preuss than Max. He also has the mandatory second effort.He is also a presence and we {MFC} are also shepherding.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Smith in a possie on the backline for this game against Footcray. He could do alright on a bloke like Naughton, tall enough, fast enough, and there is a definite need to cut out this bloke's clear runs, ideally pressure up the ground would be the most effective though....

As you know OD' i'm not the smartest chip in the wood pile.... That's a high bar OD.

One thing Weideman would have noticed yesterday was the lack of close attention he could have received in a normal game with this mob. Eddy must have said something or Dunnee must have said nothing, or both...

I didn't have any concerns on Weideman as my opinions will testify and i know what i'm talking about....
