What about 3 &13 for hogan & 12... They get 2 picks in top 13 when they would have only had one, and give up a player they don't have access to anyway and pretty much the same pick they had anyway? Although if they don't take just 3 no reason to upgrade our pick as well...

It seems to me that MFC deliberately left out the pick they used for Viney in their press release because they were going to take him pick 3 if they had to.

While I hope it doesn't happen, and its a long bow to draw, MFC's response doesn't rule out the possibility that Col has asked for a trade, the deal has been as good as done and Col has said something to Brock. While I don't know if Brock and Col are close, Brock seems "intelligent" enought to plaster this in twitter as soon as he heard it.

I believe it was mentioned in the cook article... About one line which says gysberts may be out as well... Hardly a firm statement. At one point in time Travis Boak may have been going to Geelong, or cloke may have been coming to Melbourne. That being said, we have very little insight into the players and the club other than what we see on game day. If Gysberts doesn't possess the attitude or work ethic to succeed under Neeld, it would be unfair to him and the club to keep him on the list playing at casey.

I read somewhere (and I'm not sure where so please don't ask) that the contracts for most footy department personnel finish at the start of November. What would be holding hm from coming to Melbourne at that time if his contract end date is the 1st of November?

Quick question. It might have been covered elsewhere but I couldn't see it (I did search). With the F/S bidding, would teams bid for Jack Viney first or Joe Daniher first? And if they bid their first round pick on one and lose, can they bid the same pick for the other? I sort of assume they could but not too sure.

The problem is that we are taking $cully's attitude and behavior after games for us personally, as if he hated the club. He acts exactly the same playing for GW$, so it's just his personality.

It's 5 years. Surely a level two, one week and reprimand with early guilty plea would have been acceptable. Don't forget it's 2 weeks down to one with an early guilty plea.
