A lot of things went wrong today. But to be outworked in the first half by a side that had nothing to play for is simply unforgivable. We've had a good season but wow, today was bitterly disappointing.

I've got a mate who's mates with Langford from Hawthorn and he reckons he just sees it as a job. Didn't wingaard say the same? I spose in the old days blokes like that would just play local footy with their mates but these days the cash is too good to pass up.

They're not too bad down there. As I left a game there once the old knacker standing next to me said "see ya mate have a good one". Last year at the final siren someone threw a beer on us but we were being pretty obnoxious to be honest haha.

I love going to Kardinia Park. It gets boring going to the same two grounds and its fun to have a proper away game. I've been 5 or 6 times - only we've won was last year. I'm away this year otherwise I'd be there with bells on.

There's no schedule. We'll make finals when we're good enough to make finals. Indicating concern about the negative ramifications of making the finals is peak MFCSS. People keep suggesting this. Gawn is the form ruck of the comp. We want him in the guts for 90% of the time. You don't need to play two out and out rucks if one of them is going to be rucking the vast majority of the day. So then it comes down to who is better playing forward - Pedo or spencil. Pretty easy choice.

So let's never make the finals then because we might slack off the year after. I reckon those other teams you mentioned (and a few above them) should be worried about us.
