These are exciting times, I sense change is in the air, the only way is up,afterall we can't get much worse, in fact I am sort of pleased that we are doing so badly because if we had won a couple more and been more competitive we would have just limped along anyway and would probably have escaped the scrutiny we are currently under. This scrutiny will bring change for the better.

he can get the ball...I suppose that makes him pretty good -
I've been teaching for about 10 years and dees supporters are always thin on the ground, if I mention I barrack for the dees kids just screw up their face, doesn't bother me, I'm not the one out there losing. Have actually met a couple of adults who have changed teams over the journey.

silvia is a smart one, hits a player and is out for 3 weeks, good move considering the belting we will get over the next few rounds.

Do you THINK Neeld will get the axe this week?
Lordweaver replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just happy for watts that he avoided the suns debacle, yes sad to hear an afl player talk about just being competitive, far out, that is the absolute minimum required and should be a given, I am still of the opinion to let neeld see out this year for 2 reasons: we have to pay him out anyway and secondly, by the end of the year we will have no doubt, if there is still any, as to whether he is the right man for the job, no improvement = sack -
why aren't 22 players putting in and giving max effort, it must and has to go back to the coach and an inability to motivate at least, the ceo needs to interview each player one by one and get to the bottom of this malaise

based on observations we will get effin smashed in the next 4 rounds

Neeld Post Match - Platitudes and other nonsense talk
Lordweaver replied to Soidee's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think they were asking questions about his likely ability to hold his job in the face of such losses and he was deflecting the comment and asking the reporters to focus on the play and players rather than his coaching tenure -

Do you THINK Neeld will get the axe this week?
Lordweaver replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
we are bad and we know a big reason is our midfield, I hope we van get some mids for 2014, imo that will make a big difference -
Do you THINK Neeld will get the axe this week?
Lordweaver replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
No but if this shite continues I don't think he will be coaching 2014 -
Well said my good man.

Nathan Jones elevated to Captain, Garland to VC
Lordweaver replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think the players will get behind Jones and if he does a great job and the players are responding in kind then one of Grimes or Trengrove may have to settle for a lesser role, whatever the outcome it will be a good thing. I'm sure there are many on here who feel this is overdue, well let's see what Jones can bring to the table.
