Yet you're prepared to litter various threads with snide remarks about Watts, under the pretence of "talking footy". Strange.

Liam Jurrah interview on Eddie Maguire 11/3/12
Arsene Wenger replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
Talk about taking something completely out of context.......... You understand there's a vast difference between what is expected of players onfield, and what support networks would be made available to them? -
We get it. You've got an obsessive agenda with Watts. Well done.

As has been the problem for a long time now, the team needs an extra injection of class. This year for me is about instilling the gameplan and requisite hardness into players already on our list, and finding a way to bring more top class to the club in the offseason.

Sellar?

What you mean to say is the your perception is identical to what Malthouse has said. A topic Neeld has already broached, is the ability of an opposition coach to assess a player from the outside. Very little time is spent watching the player, and any opinions formed are from snapshots. So, whether Malthouse's opinion is correct or not, it is based on limited snapshots, and an outside view during a couple of preseason matches, and thus should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Liam Jurrah: charged, on bail and discussion closed for now
Arsene Wenger replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's safe to say some idiot most likely will, but I'm not sure Liam is the type to come forward about it. I recall the game against Brisbane last year, they were having a go at him at every opportunity, and targeting his clearly injured wrist - he just went about his business, kept kicking goals and let them know all about it with a little bit of finger pointing. -

Arsene Wenger replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hard to express the sadness I feel at the prospect of losing Jurrah from the club and our game, then the realisation at how absurd that is when in comparison to the other challenges Jurrah faces are so much greater. Either way, I feel pretty damn empty. On the flip side, if he ever gets back to playing for MFC, I feel that we as supporters will appreciate his exploits on the field like never before (maybe as we should have from the start). -
I meant that class and grunt are 2 different things, and he has grunt in spades, but not class. Not necessarily a bad thing.
-
There's something wrong with Morton? I thought he was just developing like a bog standard young AFL player.
-
In 2011 season, iirc.
-
Magner looks nothing like class - he looks all grunt.

Just as a dog barks and a cat meows, a certain type of person makes those comments. -

I wish there was a 'dislike' button. -
Hamish Blake and Ryan Shelton.

I see it as people dealing with grief differently. -
They were when he said that (the bread comment). Suitably bizarre to draw all focus onto his state of mind.

Actually, he was with Collingwood, then we poached him... true to form, some might suggest. -
He's a bloody genius. He knows exactly how to draw the focus from his players and their performance, onto himself as a "sacrificial anode".

I don't think they have demonland in jail... -

He was intervening in a fight between 2 others, my unnamed sources tell me. -
A lot of assumption from Matlhouse that Watts lacks ambition. I do not agree.

Why worry about desperately clinging onto the false claim of the MCG being "ours"? It hasn't been ours for decades, and never will be again. It now belongs to the AFL, and Victorian teams as a collective. Fight some battles we can win. Lay claim to something worth claiming that is actually attainable.

Col playing defensively is seriously something to get excited about. -
Williams (Footscray) injury at Ettibad
Arsene Wenger replied to bush demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Are you really trying to blame a shoulder injury on the turf?
