I thought he might be...and Smith did nothing. Tidy up the kicking, that's what takes him to the next level. He's quicker than you think 'A F'...has a strange gait but covers ground quickly. I think his defensive work is getting better, no doubt it was an area all our mids needed to fix but we strangled the Hawks yesterday...good signs.

Would be nice to get the clangers out of his game, agreed. Half is a bit of an exaggeration though 'Nev', but when he does have a clanger it's usually a beauty... I get the frustration with him as on the flip side some of his kicking can be pinpoint (he is a beautiful kick of the ball off both feet). He must have the odd brain fade, will be better for getting that out of his game. If he does then he will be our version of Sidebottom... ...but he is doing his job and as for calls to bring Sparrow in for him as some have posted...give me a break.

I'll go against the trend here but I reckon he's playing his role and been critical in our turnaround. Yes, he has the odd wayward kick and he's not getting mega stats but his role is different. He reads the ball well off Max's hands as witnessed in the first contest of the game. He spreads well and opens out the play whereas before we would get drawn in to the ball. He also does a nice little tagging job when needed. ...and with Harmes is a great 4 & 5 option to throw in when the others need a break or we need to throw something different at the game. Stop watching the stats everyone and start watching the game. Seems like Angus is the new Omac...

Tmac has been the new Dawes for me...lacks mobility, can't put on forward pressure & wasn't holding his grabs...

Totally with you...structurally it makes a lot more sense to leave Jackson in. Besides the fact that Tom has done nothing over the last 18 months to deserve an automatic recall. This 22 stays for mine...

Honestly, I think he is way off the mark and look forward to sending a text to him at SEN complimenting his total lack of football knowledge. Will, be tracking down 'Pickers' this week, be interested in his expert opinion of the game...lol. Anyone know when he's next on SEN?

It's exciting to watch 'dazzle'. They had some nice cameos today but with more game time they are going to be a real handful.

I wouldn't do it 'what'... I reckon Jackson gave us more than Tommy has this season. He took some grabs, was very lively around the centre bounces and added the forward pressure with some nice tackles. He needs a few games on the trot now. Sometimes you get an injury at an inopportune time and this is one for Tom, he can wait until something opens up. His form was nowhere near good enough to be an automatic selection...

Reminds me a bit of comparison between Oliver and Parish. Weightman like Parish will be a good serviceable footballer. Kozzie like Oliver will be a beauty...

Peter Ryan who reported it is not an ambulance chaser so I would take the report as being right. He's no Tom Browne A question, is it just the indigenous players that have to get this particular vaccination? I know an issue blew up earlier in the NRL about players needing to have a flu shot before they were able to play in Qld...

Don't usually go in to bat for 'drysdale' but he's been pretty consistent on this for a while now 'Ohio', it's not just something he's made up. They don't have the kicking ability to play this game any longer. Their players in the defensive half with the exception of Sicily are all average to poor kicks. They don't have any Gibsons or Birchalls and instead have Frosts and Frawleys They will try possession but if we bring what we did last week it will fall apart pretty easily.

Looks like all Victorian teams are moving to Qld for the remainder of the season. Everyone out of NSW soon, maybe last game on Sunday...but maybe not?

He needs a good consistent run of games now...then we can make a better assessment. He hasn't had this in his career to date.

Darwin probably about to come into the mix sooner than expected....

The way things are moving we will be lucky to be moving out.. Might have to move out sooner & don't be surprised if we don't play in Sydney this week. Qld are already shutting off parts of Sydney.
