  1. 3 and 13 is way overs for Hogan, we got a ready made version in Clark for pick 12 last year. Please just draft Stringer and Garlett with those picks as they will have a much bigger impact. Or even pick 3 for Tippet and 13 for Garlett I would prefer over this...
  2. We are not negotiating hard enough is the point. We should put pick 3 on the table and they can take it or leave it. I would love to see a team like Bulldogs pay overs for this pick.. I would much prefer use pick 3 on Jake Stringer and pick 13 on Garlett then throw them both onto Hogan.
  3. Pick 24 they also have. Maybe our pick 45 for their 24. We should ask for Jed Anderson instead of Barry. Looking at phantom drafts Jed is meant to be a late first rounder/early 2nd rounder while Barry is meant to be a deep into the 4th round player.
  4. Hope the MFC have interviewed this kid for piece of mind that he isn't going to take off back to the NT midseason...
  5. Hogan is meant to be in the top 4 next years draft, so how is it that we want to pay pick 3 (already overs) and 13 when he cant play for a year. I cannot see the logic behind it, we payed pick 12 for Clark who was a ready made taller version of Hogan. Please do not take him with 2 first rounders, draft Toumpas/Garlett instead as they will have a bigger impact and worry about a Gorilla via Dawes or future drafts. This price is almost as ludicrous as GC wanting 2 first round picks for Caddy
  6. If he can get on the park... Hopefully something like Gysberts for Wellingham is put on the table. We need outside mids. Pick 20 have much talent in the draft? Any chance Vlastuin or Simpson will drop that far? Think im just shattered over no Stringer or Kennedy
  7. Viney and pick 4 wont be sufficient enough to turn midfield around. 3 and 13s is overs for Hogan...
  8. If we take Grundy at 4, Hogan at 3 and Dawes at 20 wouldn' t that result in the MFC wasting another opportunity to fix our midfield...
  9. Whats on offer. Reason I am asking is that with new midfield stocks coming in Jordie may struggle to make our best 22.
  10. I would have thought that Toumpas, Whitfield and Grundy are set to go picks 1, 2 and 3 and we would need to go with either Wines or O Rourke for pick 4. I would love Toumpas though. I am slightly concerned from about the likelihood of losing pick 13 Dawes though.
  11. Hope Evans remains, I have more hope in him then i do in Gysberts
  12. Any word on who we may draft with pick 4 Nudge? Love your work, I think that 3 and 13 is overs for Hogan and 20 though :*(
  13. Bulldogs could trump our pick 3 with pick 5 + pick 21 (From Hawks) That said I damn hope we have interviewed this Barry kid from NT for piece of mind that he isn't going to want to go running home to NT several times a year.
  14. Hmm if we can turn one pick into 2 players it would be a great outcome. Barry sounds like he could be a good get.
  15. Sweetener for pick #3 or both 3 and 13? I am assuming Barry is expected to fall around pick 20?
  16. Maybe GC got the better deal as a sweetener for not bidding on Viney.
  17. O rourke comes across to me as more of a ball magnet with a slightly more class. Thinking more about it I would prefer him more as we already have enough brute in terms of Sylvia, Jones and Viney.
  18. It ll come down to either O Rourke or Wines at 4 I would think. Wines would have the chemistry with Viney to last a decade so i hope we go with him. Outside mid with pick 13 - Kennedy, Simpson or Garlett
  19. Is Viney allowed to start training at the start of pre-season or does he actually need to wait until after he is drafted at the national draft?
  20. Sounds like we are keeping picks 4 and 13 so we will end up with something like In: Mids - Wines, Kennedy, Viney Forwards - Hogan, Dawes, Byrnes Out: Mids : Moloney, Bate, Martin Forwards: Green, Lawrence, Petterd Pretty good looking inclusions into the team.
  21. I think pick 3 and pick 45 for Hogan and pick 20 would be fair. Though we do need some late picks to pickup some small forwards...
  22. Bulldogs got Hawthorns first rounder for Brian Lake They could package that with pick 5 to trump us on Hogan...
  23. The compo pick they got back as part of the pick 2 for Minidraft Jack Martin trade.
  24. Pick 3 or 4 is irrelevant. If we give pick 3 the draft will be GWS: Whitfield GWS: Grundy GWS: Toumpas MFC: O Rourke If we give pick 4 it will be GWS: Whitfield GWS: Toumpas MFC: O Rourke GWS: Grundy Also the better pick of the 2 may have been a sweetener so that GWS passed GC a compo in the Martin trade and to pass on Viney GWS: Give us pick 3 instead of 4 and we will give GC a compo to not bid on Viney and tempt them to take Martin with pick #2
