People seem to amaze me around here when they can't understand a bit of humour....even after using an emotion!

How about drafting players with elite kicking ability, instead of drafting basketballers and trying to turn them into footballers.....

How do you solve a problem like Moloney?
Hells Gates replied to Jesse Christ's topic in Melbourne Demons
Still plays predominantly in the midfield though, numbers well down all year, even in games he has played as a mid all game. But I get what your saying. -
I think I will go have another coffee and come back and read this!! Brain not working very well this morning!

This could be true but also Evans has also proved he can do a lot more when given his chance also.

I can tell you love Brent!!! Moloney isnt even in the top 20 for clearances this year which is a good indication he is well down, hes 27th for those who want to know, this is the area he used to excell at. You could say hes playing a different role but hes meant to be our no.1 mid and should be hell bent on getting his hands on the footy. I found this very interesting considering that Jamar is leading the league in hit outs by nearly 50. They are usually a great combination. I think Brent has improved slightly of late but still not anywhere near the standard we know and expect from him. He will get overtaken by the game itself soon, plus our players and draft picks, I have been a huge fan over the years but I think he has other clubs on his mind. -
Ok. A few people are still going on about Moloney, Petterd, Sylvia etc & who we should trade or delist, reality is we will delist at least 5. Green may retire, Jamar might go up to a veteran, there will be places everywhere....well maybe not. Here is an updated list of our contracts, correct me if I've got any wrong. Have your say on who we should delist or put up for trade. I will highlight at least 5 for a start who may be delisted/retire. Contracted to End of 2012 Brad Green (Upgraded to Veterans List) Rohan Bail Lawrence, Kelvin (Rookie) Jai Sheehan (Rookie) Tom Couch (Rookie) James Magner (Rookie) Leigh Williams (Rookie) Clint Bartram Matthew Bate Jamie Bennell Sam Blease Lucas Cook Troy Davis Lynden Dunn Colin Garland Jeremy Howe Neville Jetta Nathan Jones Liam Jurrah Tom McDonald Jordan McKenzie Brent Moloney - FA Ricky Petterd - possible trade? Jared Rivers Jake Spencer James Strauss Michael Evans Dan Nicholson Contracted to End of 2013 Colin Sylvia Aaron Davey Jack Grimes Jordan Gysberts Jack Watts Max Gawn Cale Morton Stefan Martin Rory Taggert Josh Tynan James Sellar Contracted to End of 2014 James Frawley Luke Tapscott Contracted to end of 2015 Jack Trengove Mitch Clark Mark Jamar Unknown Joel Macdonald Jack Fitzpatrick

There is already another thread discussing this why didnt you rant on there.

He has the potential!!!! At least Holland booted 4 in one game, more than our no.1 KPF draft pick! Cooky will be fine, I just don't like Martin as a key forward, but if thats whats best for the side then so be it. I'd rather see Martin at CHB and Tom Mc up forward. I'll leave it for Neeldy, its good he's starting to get some variation.

Great stuff Tommy, its been coming to you for a while.

If you read my post properly you will find that I said Joel 'didn't do much wrong yesterday' & 'Davis plays similar to Joel & may replace him later on'. Think before you speak.

My 3 word player analysis V Gee What Shite
Hells Gates replied to joeboy's topic in Melbourne Demons
That wouldnt be hard though!! -
Cook is skinny at 196cm and 86kg, Cameron & Watts only 3kg heavier, but from reports has been doing well at Casey kicking a couple of bags and on different days presenting and marking well. Sometimes a step up in competition can make people improve quicker also. I couldnt imagine good delivery at VFL level either. Having said that if its Martin I would also be supportive.
