  1. If he does perform, what a great combo with Petracca.
  2. What about when he did a reverse pike, ball in hand, spun out of traffic twice, pirouetted, brushed his teeth and dobbed it from 70?
  3. The thing I worry about is outside speed BBO. It's been a problem for a while now and I can't see how it's been addressed. But, hey, welcome ranga.
  4. I'm probably not as sold on him as others BBO. But that's ok. Happy to be wrong. As long as we haven't managed to outsmart ourselves.
  5. So is it possible that Collingwood says don't extend yourself fully Sam and you may get through to us? It's one big conspiracy.
  6. Thank you JR. I'm hoping to make some outlandish predictions totally without merit very early in the new year. They'll be mostly based around Max King.
  7. My immediate reaction is that Collingwood is playing tricky buggers.
  8. This may be more suited to the 'differing opinions' thread - but you know what JR, this is what Demonland needs - a little self deprecation. Everyone's become a [censored] expert on this site. We should have a confession thread. I'll start: I too thought Toumpas would be good. I thought Lucas Cook would be part of the answer to our forward line problems and I was staggered Dom Barry wasn't at least a poor man's Cyril Rioli. I am now thinking Curnow could be fools gold and Weideman may be the next Pavlich. Go Dees.
  9. Parish and Weideman would be a pretty strong get for mine. My preference is Weideman over Curnow if both were available as I do have a concern that the latter could be a jack of all trades, master of none. I'm generally wrong.

Spot on summation ProDee. And he does it on a regular basis. There may well be blokes with 'higher ceilings' as the experts term it, but right now we need blokes who can get to the contest quickly, time and time again.

You weren't the only one initially excited about Jimmy WJ. I'm still a little gutted that he didn't make it with us. This bloke really hunts the ball though...reckon he's a different type of cat.
  12. Got to admit that I've done a 180 with Jake Melksham. I didn't want him at the club initially but I'm looking forward to seeing him run around and making himself a pest. And if he can play consistently like he did in 2013 we would have done well. Even if he has just short spells in the midfield (I'm assuming he will), it offers a chop out for others.
  13. So what you're saying is that you rate Clayton Oliver?
  14. I suspect you make way too much sense to post on Demonland GCDee.
  15. His disposal has been iffy at times and he's gone missing as well. But as you say, before the Dank he was looking the goods.
  16. As someone mentioned earlier, it's a punt. And if he fires four years is a masterstroke. Of course, there is the opposite.
  17. Don't worry. I'm sure Robbo can write mindless articles on our behalf if we put him on our payroll.
  18. Could Howe possibly get us this? Probably not but, by all reports, next year has a number of promising mids.
  19. Yeah, spot on willmoy. It took me awhile to get my head around drafting him but there's no doubt he can add to the list, particularly if he can recapture his 2013 form. Bernie and Crossy showed that it's certainly possible.
  20. Honestly, what is wrong with you? You do know that they'll be opinions that differ from yours and I reckon you have used both of the highlighted phrases on several occasions in respect to different posters. You don't have to bust a gut to attack, attack, attack. The rare posts where you don't attack the man have been worth reading. The other stuff is tiresome dribble.
  21. Ta rpfc. I thought that was how it worked. So basically, we need to get the deal done beforehand.
