2017 Player Reviews: # 40 Patrick McKenna

Looking through our injury list. Forgot about this kid. Would be nice if he had a run at it. -
You may well be right Redleg. I worry for Gus. I'm not entirely sure why but I connect his concussion situation with Jack Trengove's injury issues. They're not the same, I know, but it niggles away, perhaps irrationally so.
-
If he did get a run (not sure he will) I'm wondering whether Goodwin would consider assigning him an out an out run with role? If you're short of a run and a little down on confidence it's not the worst thing to have to do...imo

Weird comparison with Judd. Plays nothing like him. Plus I can't imagine a Rebecca Twigley on his arm come Brownlow night (which, as it turns out, may be a good thing)

From another disgruntled Saints supporter on Big Footy (couldn't resist): I felt like beating off w/ 80 grit sandpaper after watching that shitte. Richo needs to take a long hard look at himself in the mirror this week.

The good news is that it will soon be replaced by something horrific in the men's regular season. -
What does Hamish think? That's equally as important.

I saw it earlier. You can be a great footballer as well as a total [censored]. He and Gazza will be going head to head on that one.

Well isn't that the funniest thing you've seen. Drink and bathwater are words that come to mind.

Yes I have DJ. They haven't played that well.

Please tell me that's not it. FMD. That would happen 10 times a game. -
Robbo (Mark) doesn't think we'll make finals

1. Woodward 2. Bernstein 3. Slobbo That's how I have them. -
Inclined to agree that the timing was bad. Should have been fixed in the pre -season. The opening game, Carlton v Collingwood was painful to watch though. It's one thing for players to say 'we just want to win' but it wasn't a showpiece for all the young girls considering playing the sport, of which there are many.

The Ox and Marko sacked by SEN
Return to Glory replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Fair call. I saw it a couple of times and you're right. Perhaps he's someone who shouldn't be given to much reign. -
So just to clarify, there was no 'you've been a very naughty boy' type of conversation?

Malcolm Blight coached StKilda from the Portsea Golf Course. Col may have to consider coaching Meringur via correspondence from Sale.

Beat me to it!

Ah, Georgie Best. It's very sad in a way. For all his 'dumbness' I didn't think he was malicious or conniving. This last thing is a worry.

The Ox and Marko sacked by SEN

Jumped in at the end of this so I apologize. Listened to SEN for a couple of nights recently. Rohan Connolly may be an ok writer but he is absolutely pox as a radio host. Clearly, there's no topic that he can't swing back to himself. It's an art form but one that he's mastered. -
Put BBO on to Toast of London. If you're into twisted degenerates who constantly fluck up, you may enjoy it.
