  1. Great to see you're taking the Pol Pot ground zero approach in wanting to remove all history of Jack Watts from the MFC. Did he nick your gf SFebey? You're overly damning on him and relentlessly so.
  2. To be honest, I'm not sure who I would play at CHB. Oscar? I think I'd be playing Lever on a flank as a third man up - his Adelaide role.
  3. You'd have Lever at CHB?
  4. I think we may have viewed the clip differently IDIG. I didn't have a problem with the little dig and liked his comment on barracking for the club. The bloke has real personality which is one of the reasons why so many of us will be sad to see him go. And to be fair, it is all about him.
  5. Hoping to turn pro. But since you ask, I found your 'my way or the highway stance' on Jack Watts perplexing. You talk in absolutes and that's what I don't like. You say he was coasting, but he was also injured and returned having to play catch up. Prior to his injury he was plugging holes left right and centre including rucking. You've also put words into his mouth, quote included. Do you know his state of mind in respect to being chosen number 1? I'm doubting it. In respect to loyalty, clearly he hasn't wanted to go. He is being forced out or so we are to believe by the comments made. Where's the 'BS' there? I do get that it's a business but, to my mind, you've effectively labelled him a failure who chooses when to compete and when not to. I don't see it that way, acknowledging he has limitations. 'Stay or go. I don't mind either' is a strange comment in respect to a player who has been a good servant to the club. The Sylvia Plath gag was shite. That bit you got right.
  6. Yes, Sylvia Plath, who could forget. A tale of woe that one.
  7. I don't want Jack to leave. Absolutely love him. I'm sure many posters can put forward plausible, well founded arguments for Jack and the clubs to part ways ...and I'm not saying they're wrong. It may be a good move for club and player. But I'll miss him if he moves on. For all his faults (which are relentlessly scrutinized), I have no doubt he loves the club. So I'm hoping for a miracle...
  8. Poor man's Sam Blease
  9. Not even Earl Grey Biffen? A-holes
  10. To be fair, if the club brought in Ty Vickery and made him captain I'd be hard pressed not to have a gap year.
  11. Too late, I'm proclaiming him our messiah
  12. Dictator Koch won't be happy. Beautiful.
  13. I have that effect Ben E. But I suspect you're referring to feeling like you'd stepped into exercise yard of the Melbourne Remand Centre (albeit we were protected by glass)
  14. And by mentor I hope you mean pass on the dark arts of football thuggery.
  15. To be fair, they can all run and carry.
  16. Great player. Average bloke.
  17. Who are you wearing?
  18. Ta RM. But that's not a great sign in itself.
  19. Leon Cameron can't be much of a coach.
  20. I think GWS should be awarded draft concessions for it.
  21. I think it matters. For a player to miss a potential grand final for that is unforgiveable. It's plain wrong. The current law is an ass.
  22. I think you're right but it's not just.
  23. Has our game become so crazy that a player can be suspended for attempting to bump his opponent? Forget the precedents, fines, mrp etc, it's all crap and absolute over-policing of the game imo
  24. Did you know that Phat Phil's son covers plenty of ground? I didn't until I was told fifty times throughout the finals.
  25. He's nailed Sheedy as a narcissist. That's enough for me.
