It was actually about as well as we have played all year. They were just bigger,quicker,tackled better and had some luck. It was not a terrible game by our standards. Positives for mine were Stretch,Salem,Spencer,Hoges,The Mack,Garlett and Toumpas. I cant be bothered bleating on about Watts,Dunn,Dawes etc but at least the youth are blossoming.

One thing Roos might have tried was switching Dawes and Dunn around. Dawes is never going to clunk one and Dunny is out of form, reactionary at the moment. Dawes may have had more of a chance on Tippet. I liked Cross playing down back more.

Pace is the key. Viney,Jetta ,Fitzy For Newton,Dawes,watts. Jkh is quick and we need quick. Not perfect yet but he brings good energy.

We equalled the clearances last night due to his second and third efforts. Not all doom and gloom- there are some glaring problems with pace,skill and spread but we are in for a good second half of the year. Our half back line is superb. Overworked but brilliant. We need some dash next draft. Garlett like pace in two or three more spots would be nice.
