Not sure if serious but trac would have to sit out the year and then enter the draft in 2025 if he went down this route.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Nascent replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's a big inside mid with average athleticism at best. Can kick though. -
It's such an interesting draft with no clear order. Despite everyone talking about the mids I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Armstrong goes in the 1 - 5 range.
-
Pick 25 is reasonable for ANB and gets us a good piece for this draft. What's done is done with McAdam.

If trac is serious about his commitment to us then he should be organising a catch up with Dan and (re)sell us as a destination.
-
Has speed and good inside 50 iq from the limited stuff I've seen. Would be nice to have more transparency from the afl about which players are NGA with club exclusive rights.
-
Curtin, Tholstrup and top 5 pick this year plus change. Imagine if Reid wants to go home after 3 years.

Tairon Ah-Mu - No access for Dees NGA Talent
Nascent replied to demonglory's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's for next years draft. Kako still qualifies for the bombers NGA this year and will get access. The main thing that needs to be explained is why a player can qualify to be developed in our NGA system yet doesn't qualify for priority access. -
Would have loved to see him in red and blue but not to be. 1mil+ per year is a significant investment. I can foresee the Suns continuing to have a tight cap and shed quality players over the coming years to pay for the likes of King, Andrew, Rowell, Anderson and soon Walter amongst others. Time to plant seeds to recruit the likes of Bailey Humphrey in the coming years.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

I wonder if we can apply for an exemption or amendment to the rules. He's been part of our NGA anyway so it's not like we haven't invested in him. -

Tried to look up the rules. From what I can gather you have to be either... Indigenous or Torres straight island decent Of African or Asian decent Both parents from culturally or linguistically diverse background -

O'Sullivan playing today for oakleigh. Had an injury interrupted year but the wraps on him are very high and was impressive as a bottom ager in the champs last year. Might be in consideration for our pick

Slowly hobbled off without assistance but escorted by a trainer nearby. Didn't see the incident itself unfortunately so not sure on what mechanism caused it. Near the end of the first quarter from memory if it's available on replay. From the way he was walking I would be surprised if it's serious but stranger innocuous things have happened. -

Mentha copped a knee injury in the first quarter and pretty sure didn't return to the game after that unless I'm mistaken. -

@ChaserJ is there a website or resource that shows who is part of our NGA? I haven't been able to find anything doing a search online. -

Ollie hannaford putting on an absolute clinic. Kids got something special I reckon. -
We have St Kildas pick 45 and Bulldogs tumbling out of finals early gives us a juicy pick 49 or 50. All prior to compensation, academy and father/son additions.

Port never fail to disappoint. Come home Butters, your talent is wasted there.

I reckon its crows. Pick 4 plus crows future 1st would be very tempting. I'd hate to see him go, one of the best players I've seen in red and blue.
