I hope that we get more members but the trouble is if you get 70000 members and they turn up, then you have to buy a reserved seat as well to gain admittance. West Coast has a waiting list for their Membership. i can’t see us getting 70000 members without sustained success. Maybe 50 - 55000 at a push this year.

May and Lever are both A graders. Watch their attack on the ball and their intercept marking and it is obvious.

Sometimes you have to give up a lot in a trade to get in players who will transform a culture. Goodwin was a great team man at Adelaide. He has decided that May and Lever bring those qualities too, which is why MFC gave up so much to get them.

I think Cornes has a personal animosity towards Goodwin.

If the draft is compromised next year, then adding Bennell for 2021 may be a solid move!

I think it might encourage other star players to come to us because I think it shows that we are a club who are willing to give a player another chance.

I am starting to wonder if we should take Fisher Macasey and Caleb Serong. MaCasey is a tall forward and Serong is a Midfield/Forward. Wouldn’t those 2 meet our needs best?

Wasn’t he delisted? No deal would be necessary, other than agreeing terms with the player.

I think some people are missing the point. MFC pays market value for its players. That way the players can choose to leave if they value money over playing for our club. If Hawthorn want to pay more than Frost may be worth then so be it. He is no Lever or May. Every player needs to earn big contracts.

Brayshaw is simply untouchable. He is a solid tackler, has a great hip and shoulder and is damaging going forward. He also helps our spread when he is fit. Personally think this thread should be shut down. He could be our captain in a few years.

You can get leadership in young players too. You need to draft players like Sam Walsh who just take the game on straight away.
