Farewell Jesse Hogan
Hogan will not go to West Coast. He was a die hard Docker as a youth, that I believe is a large part of his motivation for going there. Look at how much Harmes loves us. Same thing!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Do we believe the guy in the Harrison Petty thread, who claims that he know Steven May and he is off to Collingwood.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Jesse Hogan will be dying to play for us going forward, especially if we can make at least a Preliminary Final.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Hogan will surely stay. Freo won't make finals for a few years, until they can establish a settled culture.

Andrew Gaff
If Norf sign up players like Gaff for 1.2 and Polec for $800000, then how will they keep quality players like Cunnington, who will want their fair share?
-
Andrew Gaff
Polec is worth no more than $600000. He is not as good a player as Angus Brayshaw.

Andrew Gaff
Gaff may have nominated Melbourne as his club of choice. That would throw pressure on WC to deal or accept whatever compensation they get. Gaff may not want to play for North. Some players prefer a good work environment to silly money.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Jesse Hogan is one of the main reasons I want to watch Melbourne FC. He is starting to look more like David Neitz with every passing year. He is untradeable and will help us to a Grand Final soon. This thread is even more nuts than the Neal Bullen one.

Andrew Gaff
If we get Gaff it will actually make the Fremantle meeting, next year, interesting!

There is no rationale to these tribunal decisions. They are totally inconsistent. There needs to be one set penalty and if it is policed it will stamp out poor behaviour on field.

The umps can be notified by the video umpire and the card issued as soon as it is alerted to the field umpire's earpiece.

Andrew Gaff
No, 1 week. Next time they play it will be sorted. That is the rugby code and is the difference between soccer and rugby. AFL needs to move away from this soft Tribunal malarckey.
-
Andrew Gaff
See who cares. You waste all this energy talking about an on field incident that should be red carded and dealt with immediately. The game is more important than this garbage that people spew about Gaff and his king hit. The weak tribunal encourages this kind of behaviour. Just get rid of it.

Andrew Gaff
Hate the tribunal. Yellow and red cards like rugby. Straight match suspension for a red card. Players can police the dog acts between themselves. The tribunal system is [censored] weak and is the softest, silliest part about AFL. We need to focus on the games and the players, not the periphery nonsense like fixturing, rules and tribunal decisions. Could not care less what Gaff gets. He has to live with himself for being a coward and he should pay Brayshaw's dental bills and apologise to his family for his cowardice. Weeks is no punishment.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Dom Tyson was possibly our best player for a chunk of 4-5 games after he came back from injury. He accumulated 30 odd possessions in successive games and used the ball effectively. He is a gun! Salem has had injuries this year and has been underdone but he is a very competitive footballer. Jayden Hunt was an inspired choice at the draft table. Josh Kelly may not look so good when he is not surrounded by GWS young stars, in another team.

Darcy Parish
Darcy Parish looks a bit like an undersized Isaac Heeney. I am not sure that he fits in with Roos big bodied, tall midfield profile. Maybe we will try to pinch Callum Mills from Sydney.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Essendon Fans would say any player is rubbish who wants to leave their beloved Bombers. Melksham is a really exciting player to watch in full flight. I remember seeing him compete admirably against Hawthorn a few years ago. He has a much harder edge and is more competitive than a lot of the players on our list. At his best Inthink he would possess many of the attributes of Angus Brayshaw and Jack Viney. Have faith in Goodwin, he was a seriously good footballer and a solid competitor. He will get the best out of our players and will command their absolute respect. Go Demons!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Melksham has many of the attributes of a number of our better midfielders. He gets his head over the ball, he is very good at moving the ball forward out the middle, he tackles well and in addition to these skills he has a long left foot kick. I think somebody once said something about Roos really liking left footers.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Michael Talia should be avoided. We enquired about him in his draft year and were advised not to pick him up by his school. I don't think things will have changed in his character much.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
He is a PEGS boy, who was coached by Ken Fletcher. From what I saw in his first few years, he is a very talented player. Put players like Brayshaw, Petracca and Viney around him and I Am sure that he can perform. People under rate how much the recent culture at the Bombers has set guys like Melksham back.
