If we don’t make the finals this year then we will end up losing top end talent. If we cannot retain players then the draft is irrelevant. Top teams make the finals pretty much every year.

Port Adelaide and Fremantle have the loudest cheer squads of the Inter State Teams that come to the MCG. I was in the Cheer Squad and that was my experience anyway. We should have been louder but I feel many of our fans only really get up for the big games against Victorian Teams.

Let's work on the basis that the Hogan trade does not happen. Could we offer next year's first round pick for Kade K and Stephen May. I think it would be enough.

I just told him how amazing Jesse is and that he should just do the deal and leave the thinking to those better qualified for it.

I think Melbourne will happily trade Jesse to West Coast in a year’s time. We will get proper compensation them. This was just about getting a fair deal. I think Jesse will be looked after and won’t begrudge the club a fair deal for losing him.

That is what I was hoping would happen. Freo have cut their nose off to spite their face. West Coast will now almost certainly win another flag with Hogan up forward and Freo have no one to blame but themselves.

Actually I was using Inclusive Language to imply that the majority view appears to be an under appreciation of May. I personally believe that he will be an excellent addition to our squad.

Maybe Freo are Hogan’s second team. Some people have a second team.

Well. You wear the scarf, then you are a supporter. I would not wear another team’s scarf.

And some idiot had a go at me about Hogan not being a Freo fan and there is a photo of him as a kid wearing their scarf. I knew I was right.

Looking at Garlett's 2017 highlights, we would have been a better team if he had been up to scratch this year. Add Hogan and McDonald and we would have been deadly up forward.

Can we afford to pay him 1 million a season? Would that kind of figure keep him? Given that we are in a Premiership windrow.
