  1. Brisbane played a team last week who can’t defend, we’d have done better than the Blues next week like us in 2018 mentally and physically they will be drained but we shot ourselves in the foot
  2. Yeah it’s up there with Geelong at the Cattery in 2011 and the Bombers at the G in 2013. FFS Talk about overreacting
  3. The definition of laziness is a)We lost this at selection b) AFL is corrupt and cost us the game c) Goodwin cost us the game a) Selection was okay, started fast and got them on the back foot, they settled and we changed it up went small and mobile in F50 and had our chances b) Jumper punch turnover 10m out, Gawn touched Oliver’s shot on goal, which was going through c) See a) and also Goodwin didn’t miss some easy set shots Oliver poor, Bowey really didn’t go hard enough at the footy which ended in Motlops goal. And as for “we are the laughingstock of the AFL” ffs are you under 12, we’ve been there and I remember it
  4. There’s a time to coach with kid gloves and there’s a time to rip into players. Pickett poor effort on a few occasions and leaves the ground to bump when there was no need. Time to tear strips off him, let the team down and will miss 1 game minimum. Toughness is putting your head over the footy, not what you did there
  5. Watch it again and just before the ball comes in Tmac gets body on Weitering and prevents him getting to the contest
  6. Here we go someone always has to bring logic to the Goody argument. Got it wrong with our conditioning and player rest last year Learned from it, it would appear based on the way we were coming towards the end of the home and away season but the Petty and Melksham injuries have hurt big time
  7. Votes 15 - Christian Petracca, Melbourne 10 - Bayley Fritsch, Melbourne 3 - Clayton Oliver, Melbourne 1 - Christian Salem, Melbourne 1 - Caleb Daniel, Western Bulldogs
  8. Ingerson as 3rd tall defender, Yze, Wiz in F50 and TJ’s delivery just wow
  9. But that doesn’t fit the “woe is us”, the “AFL cleared Maynard, because they want Collingwood to win the flag”, agendas. This comes from people who I can’t believe actually hold down jobs. The grand final will sell out no matter who gets through and the corporate packages are already paid for The PF’s are all set for very large hosting bias in crowd support with interstate teams up against it. Imagine the hype and narrative around a Collingwood vs Melbourne GF and a rematch in this year’s finals series. Chance for the Dees to avenge the QF loss What reception will the Dees players give Maynard Will Melbourne’s midfield regroup after lowering their colours when the game was on the line in week 1 of the finals Can Collingwood win the flag 2 traditional rivals The talk around Carlton vs Collingwood GF in the media is a romanticism from our youth when these two clubs played in many memorable matches, it is nothing more
  10. Cheers for your efforts Hibbo, great recruit who played the game in a way I loved No nonsense, team first and reliable never leaving anything out there. Lets hope there’s a few more AFL wins to go and all the best to you and your family in the next chapter
  11. I think his best position is as a forward, yes he played CHB at Colts and state level but IMO CHF is where he has the most scope. We need to understand how much the Melksham and Petty injuries have hurt us. Mcadam obviously being targeted for Melksham’s roll and Petty will be back. We’ve got some defenders coming through and I’d like to see us boost the midfield/rotation stocks in order for Trac to play a lot more time forward
  12. I think He’ll be drafted, fantastic athlete late to footy and only started playing KPD this season when WA needed 1. Wasn’t in their initial squad but tried him there and he showed a bit. I know he returned to colts and was played as a KPD at request of AFL scouts wanting to see him and Claremont being a club who put development as a priority, but with finals now on he will spend the rest of the season in the ruck. Game sense and defensive craft need work but one I think clubs will take a punt on
  13. Don’t think he will, but may get an invite to train and potential Rookie I think
  14. Sam Van Rooyen BOG today in WAFL Colts 2nd Semi Final today, to put Claremont into the Grand Final 13 possessions 8 contested 4 clearances 3 inside 50s 3 goals
  15. If you want to help your mood, why would you come onto Demonland. I don’t think you’d find a bigger collection of wrist slashers on any other page
  16. Everyone has a price Red, liked what he showed last night. They’d love Grundy
  17. You do realise 2 were taken directly out of the ruck and another was a handball receive from centre clearance. Max is not a forward he’s still the best ruck in the comp and you don’t stray from that
  18. McLean leading high up the ground tonight and taken contested marks, could be worth a look
  19. As @dazzledavey36 responded to a query on the SF thread I had regarding Disco Turner playing forward apparently he played forward today in the VFL practice match and played well
  20. They were in 2011 vs West Coast
  21. Watching Parker deep forward against Carlton, Trac plays deep on him. carlton not dealing with Sydney taking the game on or the slingshot I haven’t seen enough of him, but could Disco play tall fwd roll to bring it to ground.
  22. I just want to try something different with the set up and open up the F50
  23. I wouldn’t just because it has not worked as my reasoning. Tmac’s first hit out in a long time and the void between the VFL and AFL is just massive now, let alone coming in for a final. I thought Tmac showed a little more in the 4th, but jut my view
  24. We don’t or we can’t for the next 3 weeks we showed against St Kilda and Brisbane we need to rejig the forward line. Crows did it in 97 & 98 when Modra went down and lost form after returning from ACL. Someone with forward craft will do, change up the midfield rotation and leave Petracca predominantly forward. We need to try something different next Friday with our forward mix. If JVR is suspended Tmac stays to play back up ruck. Play a more mobile fwd line even if that means playing Tomo and fcs small fwds get front and centre. Chandler Tomo/Smith Kossie Trac Tmac Fritta
