  1. He won’t die wondering, has natural hardness and the right intensity and attitude which some other more talented players lack
  2. Coached Luker in development squads and played him at CHB a fair bit. Reads it well and always attacked the contest with intensity. When he played at CHF or FF always hit contests hard and really good with follow up efforts. Concerning about Jeffo as intensity is a difficult trait to ingrain within a player long term if it’s not in their DNA
  3. If Fritsch kicks a few great, however I want to see him tackle, shepherd, lead and chase with intensity and follow up efforts. No token throwing out 1 arm. Ball or body at any contested situation he is presented with tomorrow night
  4. You know the answer to this question, The love child, Satan was mentioned however seemed to be torn with himself
  5. Thanks to the track watchers for the updates much appreciated
  6. Nick Daicos is an absolute gun, if you think he’s not you have NFI
  7. Wasn’t the dominator either zoned to or trained with us and we overlooked him
  8. Good win, but it’s only 1. Coaching group deserves credit for game plan and execution today. Pressure rating up, 1%ers and a team effort across the board Let’s bring it again Thursday because Richmond will bring effort and intensity
  9. 6.Gawn 5.Picket 4.Viney 3.Bowey 2.Petty 1.Tmac Absolute team effort though across the board
  10. Just enjoy the win FFS, oh wait he (Goodwin) not the selection committee didn’t select your love child
  11. Good win, but it’s only 1. Coaching group deserves credit for game plan and execution today. Pressure rating up, 1%ers and a team effort across the board
  12. Kentfield won’t as he’s missed to much pre season with glandular fever. Mentha has just arrived, but Adam’s is close. It doesn’t make them dead wood
  13. Why are Mentha, Adam’s, and Kentfield dead wood. A next gen player and 2 19/20 year old key position players
  14. No they can’t within reason we are an MCG tenant and therefore entitled to play the majority of our games at the MCG To think they can make us play the majority of our home games at Docklands is untrue
  15. It wouldn’t be his only entry in the hot takes, in similar fashion to Jeremy Howe regularly featuring in mark of the week. Every week he provides comedy gold
  16. JVR is a very good defender and if Jeffo gets better with more exposure I have no issue with the change being made for both a confidence boost and with a view as long term KPD moving forward
  17. Dark Times , FFS 4 years ago we had a pandemic, get a grip. One of the worst things I have ever said but it’s like another World War may wake some people up to reality and what dark times and struggles really are. Footy clubs have ups and downs
  18. Pies were into Lever and the Hawks who were still bottoming out had a real crack at May who they thought they may (pardon the pun) get
  19. I wouldn’t give 2, his body has taken a lot of punishment which it’s not exactly built for. He’s a gun but not sure about 2 picks
  20. That’s actually carp, yeah May ended up at the Hawks and Lever ended up at Collingwood like the media stories said they were. We were never giving up pick 5 for Houston either We have little cap room and have been in the news official and unofficial for around 18 months so we’re not a destination club for a few reasons. Forget the self pity and conspiracy theories
  21. You don’t have to be fast you have to be prepared to gut run, our mids aren’t prepared to run hard defensively. There’s also footy shows have had a field day with the vision and it will be getting shown in review
  22. Makes it even easier mark it can’t get tackled from behind so either wheel and go or push back and hit the next option
  23. The big one is the short 45 kicking game to counter an opponent who presses and once you find the one who is sagging off go with speed on the ball in a more direct forward motion. That was happening in soccer for years with their short passing in triangles to draw teams out then go with a diagonal pass behind the back. There’s also the popular in vogue scoring from turnover from the defensive half, which is very much what Elenio Herrera’s Inter Milan sides of the 60s were built on and still to this day is very much used as the call in soccer “counter attack”
  24. The media engage with the agents, Allen is coming out of contract, has bad knees like Viney has a body with wear and tear beyond his age. Build a story meet Mitchell in a very public place and get a contract in terms of years that are generous that’s what’s at play here. However after being burnt by Nic Nat and Yeo in recent times we saw it with Barrass I think in full rebuild mode the Eagles will happily take the first round compensation to go with the Harley Picks and load up at the draft over the next 2 years
  25. Curtin played in super round last week and bagged 8 vs Subiaco, to big , strong and agile for his opponent.
