  1. Good points Farmer. We’re short a huge dominant key defender. I’m concerned about Hawkins, Ben Brown etc kicking 6 on us. TMacs goal kicking is too good to not have him a KPF. I’ll risk offending people here by saying that Hogan’s a dominant player anywhere on the field, has trouble kicking goals unless pretty close to the sticks, but I’d LOVE to see him take on Hawkins, Brown etc., he might kill them and would learn a lot while doing it.
  2. I 100% agree OD. He’s a reliable, dominant player who can run all day, rarely misses a goal or a game, yet is under appreciated here. He’s worth as much as anyone on our list.
  3. Thanks again D_J, the AFLX option has now appeared in my “Global Pass” App, although it wasn’t showing 12 hours ago when I made my post. Everything you posted is what I always thought was the status. Cheers, R
  4. Hi folks. Please correct me if I’ve got this wrong because I live in the USA so may not know: AFLX is played on soccer, rugby and american football grounds largely to make it easier to find grounds to play on overseas, thereby making it easier to promote AFL type football overseas correct? Why then do the AFL seem to have failed to have the upcoming AFLX games aired through the AFL Global Pass, which I think is the only way to watch AFL live from overseas? "Diamond_Jim said it was promoted as being shown on the “AFL live App”, which i thought was the same as the global pass, but nowhere on my global pass app are upcoming AFLX games mentioned!? So to summarize my post, they’re introducing a game aimed toward overseas audiences but they’re not allowing overseas people to watch it. Can that be right? Thanks, RM
  5. Thanks DJ. I’ve not heard about that.
  6. Hi “rjay”. You sure got that one correct. After looking forward to it, that half was frustrating to watch.
  7. Anyone know whether it’ll be on the “Watch AFL global pass”? ..or anywhere else it could be seen from Los Angeles? I’m just curious to see it. Thanks.
  8. Inspired by Little Goffys post above i watched the entire R23 game. ...missed it back then. Pies gave it their best. IMO Watts’ poor last quater was a bit exaggerated above. When we were thrashed in Q1 he was our best player, was good in Q2, maybe still our best by half time,,, average third and poor last quarters. I think the public nature of his unfair MFC treatment foolishly reduced his trade value for us. Here’s wishing Jack every success at Port Adelaide!
  9. Okay he's not Dusty or Dangerfield, but who is? Tyson's an ideal candidate to trade; he's a very decent afl standard player who usually gets the ball, something some teams would really value. We slightly over recruited inside mids so to trade for a current need would be a win win.
  10. I'd love to keep him if he'll stay for not too much moolah. Same height and weight as TMac and even faster! A powerful, dominant athlete who hopefully can improve his skills a bit and really be something.
  11. 6. Pedersen 5 Hibberd 4. Hogan 3. Jones 2. Petracca 1. Oliver Melksham
  12. 6 PEDERSEN 5 Harmes 4 Jones 3 Oliver 2 ANB 1 Tyson also Hunt Tmac Hannan Brayshaw
  13. 6. Oliver 5 TMac 4. Garlett 3. Gawn ________________ space 2. Frost 1. Lewis
  14. We need another tall in the side. A third tall defender. Even Hogan could have saved 2+ goals that quarter. Pedersen in the forward line, one of Hogan, Watts or TMac in defense. Our disposal's too rushed, need to be cooler, possess and tire them out a bit more.
  15. 1. It's unfair to the Norm Smith medal winner. 2. Hird hasn't admitted to his guilt, therefor he's not tried to rehabilitate himself, he's tried to rehabilitate his reputation (a totally different thing). 3. Bringing The Game Into Disrepute: Hird contributed hugely to the games most disgraceful scandal. Giving Hird this honour (to a degree) condones his behaviour so further increases the games disrepute, while reminding everyone of it all again when we should let it fade into history for decades. - Stupidest AFL move in years
  16. I agree with you Norm and Daisycutter Praha posted above that anywhere else on the field Tex's bump wouldn't have been anything and it's not Tex's fault the goal post was there. But Tex is a skilled professional and the goal post WAS there, Tex knew it and failed his responsibility, failed his duty of care and engaged in unduly rough play. Should get a week or two, but who knows what they'll do.
  17. Yes, if WC beat Port, Saints beat Tiges and we beat Carlton, we'll be in 4th place !!!??? Not that I expect all that to happen
  18. I didn't vote, but Tom Mc is walking the walk lately, I'd choose him.
  19. 6. Trac 5. TMac 4. Hibberd 3. Jetta 2. Hannan 1. Viney
  20. If we could possess it more (easier said than done). when we have posession more guys need to provide options upfield and those options should be honored.
  21. 2 turnover kicks from Wagner and 2 marks taken over OMac already
  22. Thanks Wadda. I'm in Los Angeles so they're all internet streams from here. The post I replied to and others were clear that the radio (presumably what you're calling the internet stream) was ahead of the TV, so I'm not sure what to do if they're wrong and you're correct on that one?
  23. I've sync'd things like this before using a digital delay on the audio (sound effect used in music). Only use the wet out, no dry. How far ahead is the ABC from the TV please?
  24. Agreed, and the last time we beat Wet Toast in Perth was 2002 !
