I’ve been anti Oscar for 3 years (and pro Frost). He’s been weak, slow, lacking weapons and should be at Casey. There’s a small chance he could fill out a bit there, improve and become an okay forward/swing player/utility depth.

Pruess would have kicked that last goal.

Frost and Hore should both remain in our side. IMO Salem and Frost have been our best defenders this year and Hore is coming along very, very nicely. I sure hope this thread title wasn’t to infer that one of THEM should make way for a returning injured player? IMO they’re currently above Wagner, Oscar, Lockhart, Petty, Keilty, Lewis, Stretch, even Fritsch lately and perhaps some I’d rather not mention. Lets hope the FD decides wisely!?!

Thanks LH. Personally I think they’re nuts not to play Pruess tonight! He’s playing v well ATM, WC are planning to work Max over again, which also increases Maxs’ risk of injury, but also, though he’s had little to beat this year, Pruess has been our best KPF this year ! (On the rare occasion we got to see it).

Is it too late to bring Pruess in right now to counter their trick? We’re better with Pruess and Max together anyway.

The one game Pruess played with Max, he/they were very good together and we beat Collingwood in the practice game. Who bloody well cares if Pruess isn’t fit enough to be our only ruck, as long as he tag teams well with Max? ..which he did and probably can do again! Without Pruess playing now, the chances of Max getting injured are far higher. IMHO Pruess should be in now! ..and he can still be working in his tank.

I think basically what happened was Gottleib Daimler invented the petrol engine, his company built the first vehicles in the 1880’s. Benz was a rival nearby. An English company bought the right to use the Daimler name on cars. Daimler died in 1900. After WW1 his corporation and Benz joined forces creating Mercedes Benz and the name of the parent company was and still is Daimler. If that makes any sense.

Their logo and iconic name looks great on the back of our jumpers. I welcome their coming on board.

OD, I believe you if you say they’re selling poorly in Oz. Have you driven one? My girlfriend traded her Q40 for a new Q50. I drove both a lot and they’re really nice, and selling very well here in Los Angeles

Pederson had the finest sporting attitude. No evidence of him complaining or being a prima-donna when he was under-appreciated. IMHO it was no coincidence that we usually won when Cam replaced Dawes at CHF, but lost when Dawesy was at CHF and Cam didn't play! He earned my respect, I wish him every success and am sure he'll always be welcome at the club.
